Not anywhere near the same. The touch screen doesn't always respond. It doesn't tell you to make a safe and legal U turn when you get lost, just lets you keep going. I'm going back to maps.

Every time we entered into a big city the GPS would shut off and turn back on by itself within a minute or so. If we would have gotten back in time for the return policy I would have returned it.

Posted .The default traffic is provided through the Smartphone traffic app, however, this device is compatible with both the GTM 60™ and the GTM™ 36 traffic receiver power cables. So if your other Garmin used one of these cables, you can absolutely use it to provide traffic! Thanks, James

My original device was "loading" for over 15 hours and never moved off of the second step so I brought it back. The replacement was as bad and I returned it also.

Went back to Best Buy for salesperson to help/ He programmed it so that my destination became my home and vice versa. I was going to Orlando. No one appeared to know how to work this Garmin. I had one many years ago and had no problem programming it. Very disappointed in this product.

The free Lifetime Maps are provided to update the pre-programmed maps and not add any additional map regions. You can purchase and install maps for other regions/countries. I had a GPS that had the power source/ cords, something go wrong. So I had to replace it due to returning home that week. I live in Canada. The GPS had a fit when I asked it to do the route home. I had to do a route ALMOST home and wing it. Not happy with this machine.

Could never get it to locate Joplin MO or any other city or town. Impossible to see the screen on a bright day. Posted .Connect the device to the vehicle power cable, or an AC adapter. Press and hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds. Once the device powers on fully charge the battery.
