I purchased prior to a 4 week 4000 mile trip to Maine, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and thru all New England on the way home. This is my 3rd Garmin GPS and base on the features I thought It would be a great GPS. I was not impressed. We ended up using the google maps on our phone which were spot on. The directions were always closer and the traffic was excellent. The traffic on the Garmin was not all ways correct. It missed several traffic conditions that Google identified sometimes long before Garmin and sometimes after the we had cleared the traffic concern. I purchased the the traffic app thinking it was a good thing, nope. Google always gave me several options, Garmin only one and many times a poor choice. I would have never known that if my wife was not using the Google. I finally disconnected it. In the future when traveling alone and not able to use Google, I will compare the directions before the start of my trip. I will say the phone option thru Bluetooth is great, however, had to turn off the other notifications as they were annoying.

Great maps. Easy to update and really good voice recognition. It's easy to see and easy to use. I tried another brand, at a comparable price, before I bought this one. It did not meet my expectations. It was returned. This one is a keeper.

I m so happy with the product I bought is been so helpfull for all the family specialy when we go out of town is esier to fine adresses and restaurants adreeses for all the family. So happy with the purchase. Love the built in bluetooth

My complain about other GPS systems was that you had to pay for map updates and other services. This one has lifetime maps and traffic. And the actual indications are very precise including the highway signs and lane assistance.

I bought this unit primarily to use with the available backup camera, but navigation is excellent, with "real world" directions, traffic advisories, smart phone connection. Very good screen resolution. I'm very happy with it

This is an upgrade from my old GPS. The screen is much bigger and the traffic alerts seem to be fast and accurate. Voice recognition is better but the they changed the wording to commands so that takes a bit of getting used to

All 3 of my garmins have served me well. Don't have GPS in my car, and this is far superior to having to unsafely use my cell phone. Esp since I bought the ProClip mount for my car, to keep it accessible and safe to use.

I find getting around Austin TX much easier with this product. It allows me to keep my eyes on the road rather than trying to watch the map on my phone. Great product for those cars that did not come with navigation.

Better than using the phone. I’m a realtor I would be lost without my Garman. Using the phone is a pain somebody always seems to call just as I have to make a turn or something

The traffic notifications were awesome. It helps to know when there is an accident along your route. The voice command was also very helpful to the driver when you want add a new stop, but not change your route.

Got this for my wife, she loves the big, bright, very responsive screen. Unfortunately, we wanted to use as a Bluetooth phone in an older vehicle, but the performance in that role is quite honestly terrible. We though about dropping down to the Drive60 model, but that unit has a very inferior and relatively unresponsive screen. Overall, though, as a GPS this is the best unit I've ever owned - voice recognition is accurate (and awesome), lots of routing flexibility, great graphics to preview exits and ensure you're in the right lane. Haven't tried the smartphone app yet, mainly because the reviews I've read suggest it's not great.

After using my new Garmin GPS I am extremely please with it. The large 6" screen is easy to view since I do not want to look at something on a small screen like a cell phone due to the fact that I'm usually driving and don't want to take my eyes off the road. I was on a side street with a ton of huge potholes filled with water and decided not to take a chance to go thru them. When I backed up to turn around, the GPS told me that I was going the wrong way down a one-way street, which I was, but only for a short time until I could pull into a business parking lot to get out of the street area. Didn't know it was that detailed that it could tell that it was a one way . . . very happy with purchase.

Just absolutely love this garmin gps. The blue tooth phone is a great added bonus! Also shows speed in red when to fast and green when under limit. Shows when your speed limit is about to change on road.

Took this on our trip. Very helpful around major cities. Would use other routes when seeing backups.easy to set up and her voice was easy to follow.would recommend this to friends and family.

For the United States is good I am planning to to Europe and I have purchase the maps for that region will see . But here is the US give you the alternative to see where you have to exit when there are multiple alternatives

Having been a Garmin owner for over 6 years, it seemed time to step up with a newer device. The DriveSmart 60LMT helps keep you on track at Interstate exits and interchanges with emphatic reminders of what lane you should be in. The down sides include challenges to customizing your route as it is time consuming to insert via points that forces the Garmin into the route YOU want to use. The voice recognition is poor. You can enunciate with the precision of Walter Cronkite, but the DriveSmart 60LMT will hear "pizza" in place of plaza." There does not seem to be any 'intelligent learning' that improves the choices presented over time. Exasperating, frustrating beyond description.

May need to enter city or town for location sought. Need to allow tolls or GPS will send you in opposite direction. Need to set city or area where searching. GPS comes with little remaining memory. Good lane assistance.

Not a bad unit. It does get confused about the length to a specific turn and it receives your notifications well but does not remove them fast enough. The screen is large enough and very readable for anyone to see.

The Garmin 60 is an outstanding unit. I really enjoy using the voice command to set this unit in motion. The traffic alert system works well. It is a great buy and I recommend it to all.

The maps do need to be updated immediately. The screen size is great. You can shut off the feature that tells about school zones etc. Blue tooth to hook up to smart phone is very clear.
