Love my new Garman GPS--it is our 3rd one we have own. It is nice to be able to change our route and have some one listen to me.

The pros: 1. Good display size, map is clear and scrolls well. 2. Touch screen is not as sensitive as other units so there are less mistakes while entering information. 3. Photos of intersections are generally helpful if updated (see below). The cons: 1. The unit is not very intuitive. 2. It tries to send you down roads that do not exist or are goat trails. 3. I have not found a way to get it to stop trying to send me down a road I do not want to take. 4. You have to be connected and logged in to update the maps. 5. Unit gets confused if you are on a road next to a major road. It is only accurate to about a tenth of a mile which is problematic on freeways in busy cities. 6. Difficult to delete an address set as 'Home" (I actually have still not figured out how to do it. The unit should update itself if there is a hotspot. The technology exists to support this type of feature. The menu needs a lot of work. It should be very intuitive; you shouldn't have to sit on the side of the road and read a manual to work out a feature of the GPS.

I already own a smaller Garmin device and I really like the large display (easy to read) and the voice activation while driving.

I was hesitant giving up my 3957, but after 2 weeks, this has been the best decision. Info that it gives is out of this world.

this worked great for me, i like how it tells you which side of the road your destination will be on and the map is easy to read.

we used it to find a place took us down a trail that hadn't been used in awhile . Like the voice comand. .

It was a learning curve, but it didn't take long to catch on. The tech support from Garmin was also very helpful. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Great 6" screen with a multiplicity of options that keeps you informed about all the things you need to know along your trip.

Great display. Love the way the road looks on the screen. Really help you find the right lane on highway exits.

Love and would recommend. Doesn't take up too Much room on windshield and still visible. Haven't tried to update maps but glad that is an option.

I loved how it tells you how far you are from any gas stations or restaurants when you're driving on the highway

Can locate specific places (camp grounds, restaurants, rest areas) in addition to getting directions to a specific address.

I like the 6" display and the smart notifications from your phone works great. It will also read your text messages to you.

As I travel distance by air,then rent a car, my Garmin saves me $ every rental day. And, I easily navigate unknown places.

I had a Tom Tom before this one and I definitely like the garmen much better. Better graphics and options and settings.

I travel extensively in the NJ, PA,& NY areas. The Garmin saves me a lot of time in getting to out of the way destinations.

Love the way it puts the lane picture on the screen. So much easier for older persons to find the right lanes.

It informed up of upcoming tolls in the road and delays in traffic as well as nearby gas station that were RV compatible.

Highly recommend this GPS. Connects quickly and the voice control feature is a plus when driving to keep your hands free.

It has some nice options but I have noticed at times it is a little slow in telling you where to turn when in a large metropolitan area.
