Garmin had me get off freeway in some junction and then had me to turn around and get on the freeway. On the way back was having me get off but I could see it was just going to put back on so I kept going. Did find hotel and does have excellent graphics. Liked but was wired why it did that.

The screen size is very nice so I can see things at a glance. It gives clear directions and does a good job of showing you where to go on a 3D map when a turn or merge is coming. When paired with the Garmin Drive app on a smartphone, it gives updates on traffic ahead and estimated delays. Recalculations are quick.

It has life updates live traffic and it plays your text messages. It works as a Bluetooth device and allows hand free phone calls Super convenient to use! Perfect for our older model car. It beeps every time the speed limit changes which is a great reminder!

I know to drive west to go home from BB. Garmin tries to send me East. Has happened with other locations, also. Returned a previous Garmin because of this. Still working with it. The employees at BB have been wonderful to try and assist me.

Out with the old, in with the new

The old unit has started messing up when trying to type in an address. I purchased another Garmin unit for the familiarity of use. I really like this new unit, it is a 2" larger screen, way more notifications, and is Bluetooth capable with my cell phone for hands free use.

I have never had one of their products with this problem before.

We just recently took a trip to a southern state and went through Dallas, Texas which had many 2 to 3 highways that went everywhere. The Garmin took us exactly where we wanted to go.

We are now on our trip and what a disappointment this Garmin has been. From leaving our home and traveling roads we know, it has done nothing but give us incorrect directions. We changed the settings and keep retrying without correct directions being given. It is now to late to return this item to Best Buy for a credit. We are now using our cell phone-what a waste of money we don't have.

Had it plugged into our car for about ten minutes. It was very warm/hot to the touch when stopped for several minutes. Another ten minutes home and it was again very warm. It worked well, however. A chat on-line with the web site said it would be warm.
