It didn't know left from right and was always saying make a u-turn and would take you in the wrong direction.

This one gives bad directions. Thankfully, I sort of know where I’m heading in most instances, so I don’t let this completely worthless product steer me wrong. It sometimes never picks up the satellite signal! This is a horrible product!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.received 2 days ago. tried downloading maps 3 times. was supposed to be 11 hrs. plus. download speed down to almost nothing. bought and installed sd card. download time 1 hr. have had 3 garmin gps previously. 1 left in rental car, one stolen, and 1 about 10 yrs old. drive smart 65 seems to be okay. haven't driven with it yet. the menu is way different. 7" is a plus. must be a better way to download maps. over 20 yrs and still using the same format. should sell an sd card with all gps purchases.

I rarely buy a product that I am not familiar or satisfied with, thus the reason for this purchase.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear you've experienced this. Should you like assistance troubleshooting routing please start by visiting support.garmin.com. As far as holding a charge, although portable these models arent handheld and do require power when in use.

Had to sign up for a "tech-support" plan that costed almost $60.00 a month! What kind of product is garmin making that could possibly need such expensive support. Arrgh!
