Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A GOOD DEVICE OVERALL, BUT IT DOES OCCASIONALLY GIVE DIRECTIONS INVOLVING A LONGER ROUTE INSTEAD OF THE SHORTEST AND THE DRIVER NEEDS TO IGNORE THE DEVICE AND TAKE WHAT HE KNOWS TO BE THE SHORTER ROUTE, THE DEVICE WILL THEN RE PROGRAM ITSELF. THE DEVICE ALSO DOES NOT GIVE ADEQUATE FOREWARNING OF TRAFFIC JAMS UP AHEAD.

Can't even find my home address established in 1949 in metro city ! Spoken voice input is a joke ! Google Maps on my phone finds addresses every time ! Will be returning for refund ! Waste of time and money !

Voice activation did not respond properly. It got us lost twice. It tried to route us through flooded streets. Most of the time it did not pick up on road construction and their reduced speeds. We were very disappointed in its performance and returned the product. Our phone Waze out performed the Garmin emencely. We will never purchase another Garmin product.

I THOUGHT I bought something I could plug into the lighter and go; according to the salesman!!!

Posted .All Garmin portable navigators in this line should come with a mount. Should this happen when buying from a retailer, said retailer will replace or exchange within their return period.
