The screen is easy to see, and functions as expected! The only complaint I have with Garmin is the length of time needed to upgrade the software! Other than that, it's a great unit and I would recommend it to anyone!

Stopped working after 16 months

Called Garmin Customer Service to be told that they could replace the device with a refurbished device for $130 since it is outside of the 1 year warranty. The refurbished replacement only has a 90 day warranty. One would think the GPS would be operable for more than 16 months.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.temp outside 72 degrees unit locked up and the only way to keep it from locking up was to put on the ac and have it blow on the unit all the time i was driving. also up load of new maps was a joke i called customer support to registert it and they tell me it needs to be updated i started that process and the internal clock in the unit told me it would take 28 hours hooked up to my computer Never by a garmin product again and i will let all my friends about my experiances
