size matters when finding your way. screen is bright and fairly easy to use

To be honest I haven't used this new 1 we just got but we have had a few over the years that we have passed on to our kids and have been happy with each 1. I even bought a old used 1 at a auction and just needed the power cord got 1 plugged it in and worked perfectly. So I have no doubt or concerns that this new 1 is going to be and work the same as they all have.

Bought this for my mother as a Christmas gift. She said everytime she gets in the car, she is so grateful for it. Screen is large and clear so she can see it well without her glasses.

Needed to replace my old gps. This one works great. It is bigger than my old one. It will block your view out windshield so make sure you have place to mount it. But all the features are excellent, hands free phone and voice reading text, speed cams, traffic problems and rerouting. Wireless updates are nice.

Easy to use and easy to see. Great graphics and more features than ever expected.

Larger display affords one less looking at the instructions and more time monitoring surrounding traffic. Not quite as intuitive as it could be with linking external contact information. Big plus - Map & product updates easily download and install via WI-FI directly onto the GPS, and done very fast.

I love this g.p.s, the only flaw is you don’t see the charge (on the screen) of the. Battery . But the screen is awesome

My dad loves his upgrade! He’s had for almost a year and he enjoys using it now. It’s easy for him to use and is able to see the map a lot more bigger than before.

This Gps is awesome it warns you when your in the school zones and shows speed limits and let's you know what streets are next plus love the screen size

The screen is a perfect size. The maps are updated which makes it easy to use.

Awesome voice activation, no issues with bluetooth pairing, simple and the app works wonderfully with it! Updated super easy and still has plenty of space if you ever wanted to buy foreign maps to add to it. Pure simple maps, GPS is standalone, Traffic updates (with app), speed/speeding warning (can disable), Time of arrival, delays, quick rerouting to alternate routes, hands free bluetooth speaker/mic to answer calls. Voice activated map selection, previous routes, go home option, can save locations, and recent locations, as well as add them ahead of time. Did i metion the easy clear to use voice activation, so that you never have to take your hands off the wheel or eyes off the road. Can my phone do the same, probably, but do i have to worry about my phone overheating in the sun on the dashboard, definitely. Not with this baby, stays cool and in place, auto shutdown feature when power cable is no longer providing power and this becomes the best thing on my dash. I do have to mention that there is a very similar model for slightly more that contains some Alexa features, this is not not the same one. Also, add a backup cam for only 150 more, wireless, no messy cables that uses replaceable AA batteries. I defintely see it in my future.

I used to print off directions from Mapquest only to still get lost and anxious. I was nervous when I pulled out of the driveway to go any place new. Now, this Garmin DriveSmart 65 is making my travels more enjoyable and I do not worry about getting lost. I tried it on a trip to Tennessee and back, fantastic!

Love the larger screen on this unit, makes it easier to read. It still sends me in circles occasionally or takes me needlessly out of my way. This is something Garmin needs to address.
