Bought for my son in law for business He really loves it. Gets him to destination of delivery on time Buying second one for daughter. They are very protective of it by taking it out of truck when parking.

I bought this for an upcoming trip to South Dakota. Before taking it to SD, I used it on a local road trip around 4 hours away. I used it a handful of times, maybe 6, and then it just stopped working. I turned it on about 3 hours away from home without plugging it in to see battery life. After 2 hours it tuned off. Since I was driving, I waited until I got home to plug it into a wall socket. But it wouldn’t turn back on, so I returned it. I came back here and read the reviews and apparently this is a common problem. There is a response from Garmin to ‘fix’ this. But then it will probably happen again. I paid over $250 for this thing. I want it to work EVERY TIME I plug it in. Why sell a product knowing it has issues?

TOTALLY LOVE MY GARMIN!! Now I love to get on the road without the hassle of road work and detours !!

So my vehicle has no GPS. I don't like the phone GPS. This has many upgraded features since I used my older ones. I would like more voices, but taking a BLEFT (left) seems to be the status quo. I like the Speed Zone Change chirp. I like knowing the Digital speed shown vs the Speedometer Arm guess on my vehicle. Price was good, opted to forego the Traffic model & higher price.

Have an older car that doesn’t have Bluetooth and needed a GPS. This was a throwback to the early to mid 2000s. Accurate and easy to use. Never thought I would go back to a stand-alone GPS so am glad they still make these!

I purchased this to put in are 4 X4 were we ride 400 acres of national foresty and we love it

Being older, I was afraid of the Drive Smart feature, and put off trying to use it for awhile because I felt insecure and afraid of doing something wrong! So far, so good, although I am still learning some of the features. The bigger screen is terrific!!!

Easy to read, maps are good , a bit hard to tie in with my iPhone, but that’s not their fault. For an older man I found it to be quiet easy to use

I make deliveries and all what I want is getting stuck in traffic this gps really help me on that had a route of 54 mins drive time and as soon pops up an alternate route with 24 mins which save me about 38 mins in traffic I recommend it .

i love it! this is easy to use and i would suggest this GPS to anyone! i loved using it and it is so very easy to use! if you dont have one get one! i would not trade mines for any thing!..this gps is wonderful!

Excellent GPS Works well can update it online as long as it’s connected to a Wi-Fi so you don’t have to use the computer and combine with the mobile app you can program it on the go and also tell you when you have and update Available.

This Garmin has many useful features from traffic delays and lane guidance, but like most Garmin don't expect it to understand your direction request. It Garmin might actually be worse than Siri for understanding vocal request!

Easy to use for a first time GPS user. Got me from Kentucky to Iowa and back without any problems!

This was a gift for my dad. He’s a bit older and was surprised how easy it was for him to use. He really likes it. They travel a lot, pulling a 5th wheel and this will be so much better for them than using the phone.

Maps were updated through wifi before use. The maps are not as accurate as google maps. The device guided me at least 3 times to wrong locations, such as to the other side of the street. Other than these minor errors, the device works well.

Love how it warns you of speed changes. The screen size is easier to view.

Have wanted one of these things for a long time and now I will be able to get to where I'm going and not have to worry about making mistakes.

the gatmin gps works perfectly had some issues at first but now its perfect

The maps are very detailed and easy to read follow if need be, otherwise spoken instructions are just as comprehensive. I have found the live traffic feature to be a great benefit especially during long trips heading into a big city during rush hour. The heads up prior to a turn ahead with landmarks allows me enough time to anticipate my turn well ahead of it. Great device for the money.
