Works very well, no issues at all. Gives directions easily

This Garmin has many useful features from traffic delays and lane guidance, but like most Garmin don't expect it to understand your direction request. It Garmin might actually be worse than Siri for understanding vocal request!

Maps were updated through wifi before use. The maps are not as accurate as google maps. The device guided me at least 3 times to wrong locations, such as to the other side of the street. Other than these minor errors, the device works well.

Gets us where we want to go easy to understand and install

This was a gift for my dad. He’s a bit older and was surprised how easy it was for him to use. He really likes it. They travel a lot, pulling a 5th wheel and this will be so much better for them than using the phone.

This is quite an update from my Nuvi model. Love all the new features.

My last Garmin, which I thought was "ok," just finally gave out...I could not update it no matter what I tried, so I opted to "start over," and buy this new one. Since, cosmetically at least, it seemed about the same, I rather thought it would operate the same. I was, and have remained, surprised and pleased that this one is a HUGE step up from the old one, beginning with the much larger and brighter screen. All the features are very helpful, and it responds to "changes" in traffic conditions, "re-routing," and giving directions a lot faster than the old one. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but overall I am very pleased with this unit.

I have only used my GPS a few times and it works just great. It took me where I wanted to go with no problems. I had a GPS, that a friend was getting rid of, and I found out why. It did not work properly and really was confusing. I love my Garmin GPS.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my parents who travel a lot. They love the brand and specifically this GPS is all they talked about. Definitely a great purchase

Nice size unit but missing an option our last unit had. We like to compare different ways to get there and this unit is one way only. You can chose to set it on fastest or shortest but can not see both at once. Also can not view whole routes at the start.

Love this gps. Very easy to update and easy to use. Price is reasonable for the item.

Haven't used this yet. Bought it for my new RV for help with my traveling excursions. Looking forward to using it! Had a Garmin GPS years ago when I didn't have a navigation system in my car. Like the brand.

As GPS units go, it's almost great. The size really helps old eyes. The maps are good but not up to Google maps standards. It is loaded with tons of information for making trips more enjoyable (lodging, restaurants, historic sites, parks, etc. and even has reviews of places). The biggest letdown is in the ability to verbally communicate with it. There are very limited commands and most of the time it gets them wrong. The biggest plus is the accuracy of the live traffic. It saves time when confronted with long delays. Overall good, but just not yet great.

I've owned at least 10 Garmin gps's. This is the best one so far. Would like to see more options for converting multiple entries into a route that can be optimized.

A must have for traveling especially in unfamiliar places, it has a large clear vivid screen that is easy to see with lots of optional info that can be displayed while viewing the map such as what is up ahead and the traffic, the only negatives I would say is that it can be a little bit finicky to program in your destination sometimes also it occasionally makes odd choices when deciding routes but in the end it always gets you to your destination.

I’m still trying to get it to show me my routes and setup trips. I got it to talk to me but it keeps telling me to turn left when I’m going right. I hope to figure it out before I make a trip

It works very good. Clear mapping and easier to save destinations. Picks up gps signal very well and has wifi is a great bonus. Bigger screen alot easier to read and updating is easy too.
