Nice big screen,easy to view while driving

We haven't needed to use the phone capability yet, but nice to know that we can. Also nice is the updating for road construction and closures. Compared to our other GPS this is a lot crisper and cleaner to look at. We did however need to return the first unit that we purchased. It would not run properly, or at all if it wasn't plugged in. This unit is working fine though.

Navigation Backup

When there is no internet connection, I simply activate the Garmin and I’m on my way. It makes me confident that I will always have the navigation I need.

GPS UPGRADE

Salesclerk said easy to set up - but it wasn’t for someone not technically savy. Very satisfied after it was set up. Beautiful visual and vocal travel instructions.

Better than Magellan

I never will buy any Magellan product again. I decided to try Garmin. Like Magellan, their software & WebSite appears to be biased toward the PC. I own a Mac. After some time-wasting confusion trying to figure out what their 4 apps do, I finally was able to register the device, and update the software & maps (I think). I have not had time to try it out on the road yet. But I am hopeful....

Provided great information

We ran into flooding in a couple states where the main interstate was closed. It provided a secondary route immediately. It also provided hotel/motel information. We definitely recommend the Garmin DriveSmart.

Garmin - DriveSmart 65 & Traffic - 6.95" GPS

I use it for work and being able to take an address right from my work calendar and pushing it to the Garmin saves time. The big 6.95" screen makes it easy to see. It loads maps fast and has been accurate with locations. I would recommend this Garmin to a friend.
