I HAD BEEN USING ANOTHER TYPE OF GUIDE AND FOUND THAT I WAS MISSING THE GARMIN THAT I USED TO HAVE. THE PICTURE QUALITY IS GREAT. DIRECTIONS ARE GOOD. IF I VARY FROM THE SUGGESTED ROUTE, THE GARMIN READJUSTS AND GIVES ME DIRECTIONS FROM WHEREVER I HAPPEN TO BE!

Slow calculation you willmiss a Street or can take you on a different route when you push the button to go on another route my Model 1300 Garman calculate better Garmin need to work on that 65 calculation then they will have probably the best one out thereThat’s the only downfall of that GPS 65

Thought voice recognition feature would be useful. But it was pretty frustrating and useless. Easier to pull over and punch in the search item. If it had a function to calibrate to your speech it could be improved. As for GPS functions, works fine. The bigger screen is a plus. Currently don't own a smart phone, so not using Garmin at full potential

It did a wonderful job of getting us to our destination. But, we did have some construction issues on a State Highway that we were not alerted to before we started driving. I don't think it gave us any options. But, that is OK. We made it safe and sound to our destination and back.

However I decided to return it and continue to use the old one. Old faithful still fit my needs. Please note I did not keep this item! Didn't want to spend more money when I did not need to. I gave good ratings because I believe in GPS. Always have served me well over the years.

We cannot get the screen brightness to stay at 100%. It starts off great but then after a few minutes it gets dark and is almost impossible to see. Otherwise it's great.
