Very helpful and easy To install in my car, good price.

I said good because I have faith it would have been good. However I decided to return it and continue to use the old one. Old faithful still fit my needs. Please note I did not keep this item! Didn't want to spend more money when I did not need to. I gave good ratings because I believe in GPS. Always have served me well over the years.

Bought for my 76 yr old mom, who gets lost a lot!! This gps has worked out great for her, easy to use, large screen too. She is extremely happy with this gps!!

I will not give it a five star rating just yet because I do not think we have completely learned how to totally run it. It did a wonderful job of getting us to our destination. But, we did have some construction issues on a State Highway that we were not alerted to before we started driving. I don't think it gave us any options. But, that is OK. We made it safe and sound to our destination and back.

Works far better and easier than my last one and more acutate

Compared to my 10 year old GPS, this new one is superb.

Love this new Garmin DriveSmart 65 with big touch screen!! I

This Garmin is great and we like it except for one thing. We cannot get the screen brightness to stay at 100%. It starts off great but then after a few minutes it gets dark and is almost impossible to see. Otherwise it's great.

This is the third Garmin GPS I've bought, and it's pretty good. The maps are basically perfect, and the screen definition has definitely improved. There are bells and whistles (Traffic alerts, weather radar, phone interaction) which in practice isn't as user friendly as you might think. This unit is best used as an updated, speedy new GPS that will guide you down the road.

This product is amazing! I love it! I took a trip from Pensacola to Ft. Lauderdale, and by using it, avoided a major slowdown on the Florida Turnpike. I plan on using it next on my trip to Greensboro, NC!

Works very well, and the best part is I don’t have to tie up the phone with navigation. This comes through when the phone navigation won’t work in rural areas. Great to have , even as a backup. We love the feature of self updating when you connect to WiFi . Great product overall.

Love that it's voice activated and has a large screen.

Purchased this in 2020, and worked till 2022 when while on a route, the screen suddenly went blank and began flashing "Garmin", then went totally dead. Returned it under the extended warranty. Overall it was okay, as ETA was almost always accurate, although there times that the ETA would unrealistically increase by a huge amount of time, and then if you kept going for 15-20 minutes, it would just return to the original ETA. It often calculated a less than direct or obviously optimal route, meaning if you were personally certain of a better route, just take it and force it to catch-up and "recalculate". We found the TripAdvisor feature useless, as aside from an inaccurate star rating, the info was never updated, so often the business was no longer in existence. It would not work for more than a few (3-5) minutes without being plugged-in. A big downside was that it would not show the most efficient route of the stops (waypoints) you entered, so you would have to use your cellphone to map-out the route, and then enter the stops into the Garmin in that order, or else it will have you backtracking all over the place instead of making a continuous trip with succinct stops along the way. 3 Stars because it would get you to the destination the vast majority of the time, and Traffic reporting was pretty reliable. The 65 was replaced by the 66, but we decided to pay more and replace it with a new TomTom GO Discover Supreme 7 instead. Watch for that review later.

Have had an old version of Garmin. Used it constantly but I could not a see it well in sunshine. The new ones are like your cell phone maps— bright and clear. And so many extras. It’s equivalent to the GPS in new cars. Even shows my cell phone messages and texts.

High Quality, accurate, very reliable, Would buy again,

the garmin 65 seems to work ok but for one glaring failure, the voice command part of it has a lot of trouble recognizing addresses I have to type in the address, outside of that little problem it works well

Adding the app was easy and the pairing went seamlessly. Love the big screen.
