Bought this GPS on Feb 21, 2021 and used it twice to see how it worked as it was going to be a back up. The second time using it was today (3/13/2021) on a mini road trip with my wife. It worked find going where we were going but on the way back it started to act weird and shut off. We were disappointed not only for what I paid for it but because it was plugged in the whole trip. I brought it back to BestBuy for an exchange hoping the next one will work better for us which is why I gave it a two star review. It is a nice GPS if it works.

Wonderful device. Just used it on a trip to Omaha, Nebraska and it really worked well.

Now I finally know where I am going most of the time. Lol. Seriously though, this is a great GPS all around. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a GPS system. Decent price, too.

I really like this GPS. I have owned Garmin GPS in the past and really like this one the best. I like the large screen, voice control and traffic notifications. Although I have a built in GPS in my car I prefer using the Garmin.

I love it, 2 things that need be improved are #1 Current Location on the bottom should be a whole row to itself where you can see and read the entire length of the roads you're on, I don't like how it shows a limited number of characters, it be very useful especially in places where there no street signs and boy I been on roads like that. #2 Battery life is short but in my case I like keeping it plugged in

It requires a smart phone to download maps!! I am 77 years old, live alone, and do not need a smart phone. In fact, I don't have an operational cell phone, because the best rates are $20/month!! My land line is more cost effective. I go out once a week and make nearly all of my stops in one trip. Yes BB took it back, but because I returned it 4 days "late" it cost me $50!! I am not happy. Retired people plan local trips to keep fuel cost and vehicle maintenance low. My old Tom Tom works fine. My only complaint is that the screen is too small, I can DL map updates from the internet. I wanted a larger screen, my reason for "upgrading" but will not purchase a Smart Phone, or pay the high monthly for occasional mapping!

This was an upgrade from a Nuvi 1490. Can't say the maps are any better, but it has lots of extra features. This is my third Garmin. I do have GPS in my car, but it's outdated. I like the life time map and traffic feature.

BUY THE BEST. Cheap foreign GPS units are terribly inaccurate w/out the ability to update maps. Have tried two different foreign units and they were worse than useless. No updates available for those.

Over all I'm very happy with my new GARMIN DriveSmart 65 GPS. I did notice that it seemed to insist that a local highway was closed, but it isn't, it's just under construction. otherwise it's been very accurate

I loved the features. The only thing I didn't like was that it lost track of which time zone I was in on my return trip which made arrival times somewhat confusing.

I love how clear the display is, a perfect size and easy set up.

Just took it for our Niagara Falls,ON vacation. No issues finding places in Canada. Just make sure you update your maps. I preferred the square of my old Garmin 7" mount to this one (round) but you get use to it. On sale too!
