It is clear large and loud. And it connects to any car that's smart or not, so he feels comfortable taking it with him when working.

Sometimes it works great then other times the icon jumps around to roads I'm not even driving on. I keep the software updated. Overall, I give it a 6 out of 10.

BUT i bought this GPS in April 2020 with accidental geek squad protection... November 2021 it stopped working......now it doesn't turn on. not even two years old.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that the GPS has stopped working. When a Garmin device won’t power on a soft reset often resolves the issue. Connect the device to the vehicle power cable, or an AC adapter. Press and hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds. Once the device powers on I would suggest fully charging the battery.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It has been a reasonably wonderful unit, for approx 9 months before having freeze up issues (that wouldn’t go away until the battery was exhausted each time). Heat nor sun, nor any dropping being an issue. In all honesty nearly all electronics have hardware issues at some point. The unit has a one year warranty from factory, Was able to get them on the phone reasonably quick, & they walked me thru making sure to backup, then resetting over the phone. They also extended unit another month beyond the warranty date, to make sure issue didn’t reoccur in near future. They appear to be customer focused on support. I would buy again even with issues found.
