Bought as an backup for my phone navigation app. We used it along with Google Maps on our last multi-state trip and we were impressed on it's almost exact parallels in route and travel time. The Garmin is actually better at finding gas and restaurants along the route. Google Maps is better with traffic reporting.

Device is very good, but has no edges to prevent cracking from even the slightest bit of pressure to the glass surface. Had to reinsure a new device of the same model when the first one broke. There is no case that exists which can adequately protect the screen on this device.

Very impressed with the product. the supplied mount doesn't work on the textured surface of the dash in our car.

Great backup when apple play is not cooperating. Great for retirees

Connects to bluetooth ,Alexa , and easy to update the maps with wifi . The new way it connects to my bracket now with my Mini Cooper Countryman it looks like it was made for the vehicle.

This is my third Garmin (one lost, one broken). I have used other brands; they cannot compare to Garmin. Easy to use, easy to understand.
