    Route Shaping with Garmin

    I used the Garmin Drive Smart 66 to drive 900 miles from SC to WI. I was able to use the route shaping function to create a custom route and it worked well taking me exactly the way that I wanted to go. The screen resolution is very good as well. I used the speech option to add gas stops when needed with ease and without losing my primary route.

    It’s ok just has to be plugged in at all times Traffic is accurate.

    The build quality is not as good as the Garmin - DriveLuxe 50LMTHD 5". Also I noticed that it will auto shut off even though still being powered, WHY?? I use this for work and sometimes need to be stationary BUT need it for it's Bluetooth connection to my phone. I've gone through all the settings without any luck.

    Honestly this device often gives poor routing and suggests businesses that are closed and there’s no way to remove these businesses

    Complete waste. Thought i bought a truck device. Tried to return it. Return was declined. I was forced to purchase thr right device somewhere else. I will not shop here no more.

    I used to have garmin navigators in the past but never had one the was significantly inaccurate. i updated the unit right out of the box but got me lost in maui hawaii

    Not at par with the quality we’ve come to expect from Garmin. During navigation it went off on a loop on its own and would not stop adjusting the position.

    I purchased this for my mom, but had to return because she couldn't figure out how to use it correctly during a trip.

    Total garbage not even one month and it stopped working. It doesn't turn on at all. Bought on 3-05-2022 and Died after two uses on 4-01-2022.

    I have gone through 3 of these in the last 3 months. After about a month they just stop working.

    Seems like Garmin used to mean quality. After less than two months, this GPS would not even turn on.

      Thank you for your feedback. When a device does not power on, or if the screen has become frozen and will not power off, a soft reset can help by forcing the device to reboot.     I returned it because the Bluetooth was not working. And the sales person told me exactly how to do it and I couldn’t get it to come on.

    no help on upload ,cant get help from garmin, best buy wont help please dont buy you wont make it to were you want to go.
