Whole reason I got this was to avoid plugging in my phone all the time or connecting it. Wish they were more stand alone. Without your phone, finding locations is pretty much useless.

It has not been able to find the correct location and a driveable route except for 1 out of 12 locations. I have had to get latitude and longitude and manually enter correct coordinates to get to most of the places we have needed to travel to. There are places with the name of the location we wanted to go to, but with the wrong location. If it had the correct location a few times, but tried routing via private or employee access only roads. Maybe it is because Florida. Yesterday was the last day for me to return it.....a paper weigh is all it seems to be useful for. Wasted a lot of money. I hope it works better in other states.

I was able to use the route shaping function to create a custom route and it worked well taking me exactly the way that I wanted to go. The screen resolution is very good as well. I used the speech option to add gas stops when needed with ease and without losing my primary route.

Also I noticed that it will auto shut off even though still being powered, WHY?? I use this for work and sometimes need to be stationary BUT need it for it's Bluetooth connection to my phone. I've gone through all the settings without any luck.
