I'm surprise how fast the unit will let you find anything,I installed poi on it works great

I have had several Garmin GPSs in the past. This one is by far the best. The spoken directions are clear, detailed and accurate. Even in confusing situations it is hard to get off of track. Lifetime map and traffic updates are a wonderful feature as well.

everything is great but there is no security code for protection like my old Garmin had.

Really simply put, it's gets me to where I have to go and hasn't given me any problems yet. It integrates well with my phone and no longer leaves me with the feeling that I might get lost again in the back of my mind. The only issue I had was getting it to update, which would always fail for some reason; It did take some time to finally get it to work. Unfortunately, You won't get full coverage of the continental US unless you buy expandable memory. SD cards have gotten extremely cheap, but if you want an alternative you can always use the garmin basecamp program which allows you to select specific areas you would like to update instead. Overall it was a great investment for traveling, and recommend it.

While smart phones will do a lot. I like a separate GPS not tying up the phone. I like the school zone alerts, speed on the screen, always look ahead for curves, traffic reports and Lifetime Map Updates, I was glad to replace my older Nüvi. for the lifetime map updates alone

This GPS was so much better than my previous one. I especially like the fact that they give you a lifetime map update. They have really come a long way. My favorite feature is showing me what lane to be in. Battery life is ok but most trips it's plugged in.

Great product, would definitely recommend to anyone, fonts and pictures are wonderful.

Excellent driving results so far. Be sure to download current updates before using. Per suggestions I used it to travel to know destinations, checking accuracy. 99.9% accuracy. The only disappointment is not being able to download additional voices.

the garmin nuvi i purchased is great. the $99.00 garmin i purchased took me in all the wrong directions so i returned it and purchased this one. i love it. The voice activation is great and it always takes me where i need to go. Excellent product!!!!!!!!

Like the gps, easy to read and program. The voice command feature is very haphazard, works when it wants to. Have even tried using it after turning of radio background noise but doesn't seem to help it. I end up trying voice command, if doesn't work, manually program.

Love my Garmin GPS, used it very frequently. The price for it was awesome!

This was easy to install and understand. One of the best features about this product is the free lifetime maps and updates. This feature does not necessarily come with all GPS systems. Just put it in my vehicle yesterday and all seems to be working well.

Nice GPS for the money. The screen is good size and audio is clear. Easy to update.

I like my new Garmin! It has a lot more information than my two previous versions. The screen is a little wider and is a "HI-Def" quality screen. The traffic info is back also. It also has a voice command capability but I have not tried to use it yet.

She uses this as her guide and has satisfactorily helped her get point to point instructions even in Canada. She is very content with this and gives me relief in keeping her safe for the investment.

the Garmin I recently purchased replaced the one I had bought in 2008. Love the updates

After lots of research, I grabbed a 2589LMT instead on one of the newer models.. Used it on a cross country road trip, and it did just what I expected. Was really good inside the National Parks. Would give 5 stars ... but the basecamp software needs some work.

Overall, the directions provided took me to the desired destination. It did take us out of the way one time whereas there was a more direct route that would have saved us 10 minutes at least. Alerts were given in school zones and alerts for traffic backups were excellent.

I have updated from my six year old garmam wich has never let me Down but updates for this one are hard to Get my new gaman Hsse many more features which are all life time free for me it is also more compAcked With a much biger screen could not be more Satisfied with it
