This particular GPS has a nice thin design. I've noticed that the dimmer always goes dark when it first starts up, and the new Garmin routing options are poor. There is no longer the option to follow the directions in the direction view (vice map view) with the mileage counter updating as you move.

great gps right out of the box. did not have to update it was ready to go. took me to my destination with no problems, except for one area where it told me too take a right when it should have told me to take a left. all in all good a good gps.

Got this GPS for my dad, and he loved it. It was easy to use, he was able to change the language to Spanish. It told him in advanced if there was any traffic. It also had a good quality for pictures. He loved.

Good and reliable GPS system. Did have to get assistance from Best Buy for initial upload because home wi-fi could not handle data. Took advantage of free service coupon to get install accomplished, now works with no issues.

I have used Garmin GPS systems for many years now and their mapping system and database is the best on the market. I would always recommend buying one with Lifetime Maps and Traffic. These devices last forever.

I was surprised at how well the voice command on this device works. Just ask where the nearest gas station is and off you go. It does the basics very well (turn here and the like) of course. Solid performer.

Great GPS, voice command is nice. The only downside the traffic is slow to pick up issues, if it even picks an issue up. If you are concerned about the accuracy of traffic, I would purchase a Tom Tom and that is from experience

Good product and voice command feature is a definite pluse. Clear and bright image of screen and advanced turn warnings are prompt.. Also alerts you as to a school zone for safety and posted speed limits.

I love my new Garmin 2589lmt. Not only does it direct you to where you want to go, but also keeps you informed on any congested traffic issues or upcoming school zones. Lifetime free updates a definite plus.

Brought this GPS for my daughter. She loves it. Now I wish I had bought one for myself at the same time. It has a big screen and shows more information than the previous models. Well worth the money.

Unit works flawlessly. The Bluetooth works great and very convient. Live traffic is good. Sync to my iPhone with no problem. Voice is loud and split screen is great. The traffic alerts are a great feature!

I bought this gps system when I'm about to go on a road trip. Compared to google maps this is great. Very easy to understand the instructions. The talking voice is smooth and easy to grab. I love this product.

Very nice GPS. Good clarity, easy to operate. I really like the upcoming Lane designation feature. Garmin, please make an option to create a route using right turns only during heavy traffic or just as a regular option.

I go to best buy because of the great prices and service.

Great product for the money. Garmin has always been good, but this is significantly better. They keep on improving. Very pleased. Also was shipped to my house in a very timely manner, and packaged well.

I have always enjoy Garmin GPS. We bought for my sister-in-law. She is not tech savy. She travels a lot for work. It is very easy to use and she has not asked me one single question about it. Great JOB.
