Large screen with excellent brightness. Landmarks for food and gas make it a valuable resource for exploring areas that you have not had a opportunity to explore before.

I haven't used it for travel yet but have used the Bluetooth and worked well. Need more understanding of how it works so I don't have to scroll to Bluetooth each time.

easy to use, easy to operate, the voice recognition sometimes is frustrating, but I think its true of a lot of electronic products, even Siri has issues

Love the voice recognition, even though it may take a few times for Garmin to understand...works great on verbally entering addresses, the place recognition?...Just ok.

With the voice activated feature this GPS is extremely easy to use and doesn't take your attention off the road when driving to access additional information.

Works good. Purchased it due to the voice recognition option. Speaking the address to start directions works well. But, speaking a specific business name does not.

Works great but I have trouble turning it on sometimes. I googled the problem & others have said the same thing. I have to make sure it is fully charged before use

I don't use a GPS very often but this Garmin 2589 is amazing I love how you can just talk to it and tell it the address! I would recommend this to anyone!!!

I am able to load a PQ right into the gps and just punch in the GC number I want to find. No need to worry if my cell service dies out on me! Great product!

Must have if you're traveling. It helped me a lot during my trip from Newark NJ to Houston TX without missing a turn. That's a wonderful travel tool.

Garmin has done a great job bundling many functions in one device and kept it relatively for the user. I've tried others but keep coming back to Garmin.

Bought this for my teen so he can get good directions as well as use the Bluetooth when necessary. Suited his needs perfectly. I would recommend.

Updated form a 2597LMT Garmin Nuvi. This unit has much brighter and sharper screen. Almost like being in HD. Voice Command works great even with my gravel voice.

I enjoy the fact that this GPS has voice command so you can speak the location and begin the route without having to take time typing in the location.

This was purchased for our newly driving daughter. The voice recognition feature has absolutely made jealous. Maybe it's time to upgrade mine too!!

Bought this wondering how well it could supplant my current Garmin GPS. It was fantastic and and i felt i got a great buy! Definitely my #1 GPS now

I love this gps. Gets me from point a to point b, shows my speed and even turns red when I am going over speed limit... voice command is good too

Great product. We took with us on vacation to Florida this year and drove down to Key West one day. The Garmin worked great. No issues with directions.
