good solid Garmin unit. This is my 4th Garmin. This was an open box unit so is slightly used or a return. No issues and works as it should. Needed a micro sd card just to do full first update. Should have had more memory built in would be my only con that I can think of. Works as advertised.

This is our second Garmin and we are very pleased. The updates have made this unti very useful. It's nice to be able to leave it on the dash and not worry about it. Lifetime updates on the map was what caused us to purchase. Best Buy had a really nice sale on them. One for every budget.

Loved it, but eventually had the same weird power connector issue all 5 or 6 of my Garmins have had - flaky connection that turns off and on intermitently until you chose to chuck the thing out the window or take it back. Luckily, Best Buy has an excellent return policy so I went with the latter.

I took a road trip recently and used my new Garmin GPS. It did a wonderful job. I wanted to take back roads part of the way so I just turned off and let the GPS do the rest. Made it there and back safely and saw some wonderful scenery without worrying about getting lost.

This GPS is awesome you can name it and it responds to it name rarely need to touch unless it can't find the address or POI you are saying. I've had TomToms and Magellans but this is my favorite, actually I have two one to travel with and one that stays in my work van.

Unable to use voice command to speak addresses. GPS does work adequately.

This is my third Garmin model. I've updated my units over the years. I had one Tom Tom in the middle of these. I had it for exactly 24 hours and took it back and bought another Garmin. I bought this unit in anticipation of a big trip out west. I wouldn't trust another brand.

Would have given it 5 stars if voice command worked better. Find myself regularly having to repeat commands or search names. Other than this it is a great GPS. Bought it for my trip to Canada and it made the trip much easier. Still use it daily at home. Good balance of cost vs. options.

Read a lot of reviews for this unit, and I personally believe it strikes the right balance between value and functionality. GPS screen is nice and clear, and it does a good job. Unless you are mapping to a brand new physical address, this should give proper directions.

I love the Voice Activation Feature. I saves a lot of time getting to where you want to go. The only draw back is the Volume. I have it set on the highest level and have a hard time hearing it. Otherwise it works great and has a lot of good features that help entering a destination.

I gave this GPS as a gift and they immediately went to work setting it up. They could not be more pleased with the features and the connectivity. The dual screen works well as does the phone connection. Uploading appears to work well but there has only been one so far. Good value.

Was traveling in other states. It got us there and back with no problem. Was in one of those six lane highways the GPS directed which lane to stay in or move in. It took out all the guess work with plenty of warning. It took off a lot of stress. Really like my GPS.

I love that the print is but enough to read and understand. The color coding for street viewing especially when dark is a perfect tone. I like that it came with a mounter and it is positioned for easy access and easy viewing. The only thing I need to learn is how to use voice command.

It is difficult to know how effective the traffic alerts are because the device relies on 3rd party traffic signals. Nevertheless, when I am traveling on major interstates and toll roads I rarely receive alerts or reroutes.

The only objection to this unit is entering an address. Since it is using your location, if you are entering an address out of your area you must first choose an area to search before entering the address. This seems cumbersome compared to the Magellan unit it was replacing.

I needed to retire my old Garmin GPS. I was looking for a GPS with lifetime maps. I bought this GPS for road trips, have yet to use for long trips. For local trips, it has got me to where I needed to go. Since I prefer Garmin, I don't think I can go wrong.

Overall like this unit very much. Intuitive set up & has worked without a glitch thus far. Love the interactive hands free voice prompts! Only thing that would make it better is being able to answer an incoming call via Bluetooth, without touching the unit.

Lots of nice new features since out last one... We bought the same brand a few years ago and did not use it only on long trips and it quit, wouldn't take a charge (or course when we were on the road)..... hope this one holds up better..... so far so good!

I have now had my GPS for 3 weeks and have enjoyed using it. The response times are quick and the voice control function works well. Setting destinations are somewhat different than my older Garmin but am accommodating to the changes. Overall, great GPS.

I've owned three Garmins and I wouldn't be without one when traveling. The nicest things is it's not built into a vehicle so when I travel I can take it with me and use it in rental vehicles. I like the split view when you are coming up to a turn off. Great value.
