This GPS is accurate and quick loading but wish it had the traffic function as the fastest route may not be the shortest when traffic is factored in.

I have a Garmin similar to this one. I bought this for my grandson that was graduating from college. So far it's been working as expected.

My wife used her Garmin Nuvi 65 in another city to navigate and I use my Garmin Nuvi 65 for recovery to find addresses locally in Denver.

We have had good success with our current gps, researched this one on line and Best Buy had the best or same price as anyone else.

Pros. Roomy screen size. Fairly intuitive to operate. Much simpler than Tom Tom Very, very fast to acquire satellites from a start up I like the new mounting hardware. Very easy to use. Cons. Trees, rain and cloud cover reduce the accuracy from 10 feet to about 30 feet or more. The polarized screen is annoying to use with my polarized sunglasses. I can't use the screen in the horizontal mode, I have to switch to portrait mode and stand the unit on its end. Limited viewing angle. In the sun we both can't read the screen at the same time. Very frustrating to try and get going after pulling over for a stop. The unit can't tell you how to get back to the road you were just on. You have to start driving and wait for it to correct you. No recalculation warning when I miss a turn. The digitized female voice is just ok. Way behind Tom Tom. This model is no longer plug and play with Windows XP. Tech support had to walk me through the map update process. It was not hard but they are not available on weekends or late at night. If you have XP and need to go on a weekend you might have to borrow a friends computer to update the maps. The glass screen models with the higher resolution looked really appealing but they are far more expensive. I like the clarity enough that I might try one. The 2689 did a much better job under Best Buys metal roof with accuracy than the 65. The 65 kept losing signal, while the 2689 never lost signal and could get accuracy down to 30 feet. The best the 65 could do in the store was 114 feet. My only concern about the 2689 was that it was slow to find the satellites on startup. Much like my Tom Tom. I might give it a go just to see what happens. Accuracy helps when city streets are close together. All in all it's a good buy.

I bought this GPS and it is very good and did not get any trouble since 7 months. This has clear voice and good search facility

I love this product. I am using this for a month now. Initially had some problem with the item delivery from best buy. But the product is good.

It is the easiest and not so many bells and whistles and that is what I wanted

OVER ALL EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY - NEW INSURANCE SHOULD BE PRORATED FROM THE AMOUNT NOT USED ON THE OLD ONE I RETURNED FOR REPAIRE,

A few times an address could not be located, but over all well worth the investment. Especially liked the attractions, and gas station features.

This Garmin Nuvi65LM 6 GPS is an awesome product, I am very happy after using this GPS. It takes very less time to reroute.

Owned a Magellan first. Bought the Garmin after Magellan quit working. Love the Garmin. Very impressed with overall quality.

Good product although having purchasing while on vacation, upon returning home found it was $20 less expensive locally and on-line!

The picture on garmin is easy to see. You tell what ever thing is on the picture. It worth the cost too.

Excellent product. Like that it will pull up street information refilled as you type in information. Also like that it gets traffic updates live.

Bought this prior to a road trip. Worked great through multiple states. Really like the split view that shows which way to merge.

I wanted to exchange it at the store but it was over a month and they had quit selling this item so no exchange, It's not easy to operate

My grandparents insist to have one of these, because they are not good with smartphones.
