Well, I mean it does get the job done and gets you to where you need to go. Good size screen, but I would have to say it is "sort" of dependable. Occasionally, it will send you to places like the moon or mars, or take you on some sketchy "Hills have eye" dirt road that isn't suppose to be a road and then your jeep falls off and rolls into the river and you end up waiting for your friend to pick you up to go snowboarding. But otherwise it's okay. :)

This is an excellent GPS and no more paying for map updates.Large and easy screen to read.

I've bought recently to use here in US and abroad, and, so far, it has provided good routes and directions in both cases. The reason for some "good routes and directions" is that, eventually, when trying to find address a bit outside the city, it wasn't enable to provide it, even having purchased the maps from the region. Still, the screen size is quite good and indications of restaurants, gas stations and others while you're driving is very nice.

Bought this for my Dad, liked that it had a large screen and the volume goes up quite loud. Does a good job but would work a little better for older folks if the Saved routes icon was a bit larger.

Good price, easy to use, like the 6 inch size, free map updates, replaced an older model.

I love it, it so easy to read and use. The cost was a good one as well. I would tell everyone I know to buy this GPA...I take it with me all the time so if I need to find gas, food or help.....it is all at my finger tips......

The good: its huge. The bad: its huge. We like the size of this device as it is easier to see when glancing quickly however it blocks a lot of space in the windshield. I have a Ram Mount and X-Grip with an extended arm that I was using for my phone that I now use for this instead of the phone which brings it down to the dash level which is much better. I would give it five stars is it had a better mount that dropped it down some.

I travel for work and need a GPS. This one has all of the features I needed and was one of the lower priced. There are more expensive GPS units available that have all kinds of hidden tricks but this one does the most amazing trick......it gets me to where I need to go!

this gps unit is easy to navigate thru and the screen is larger than earlier models.

We bought this item for a trip to Miami Florida it worked great. Not one time did it give us wrong directions.also used it to find food, gas , shopping It has it all. You will not be disappointed.

The Garmin GPS has a large display with great features. A very reliable equipment.

We bought this Garmin to take a trip to Vermont for a family wedding and although it was difficult to get it started, probably because we are rank beginners, it worked perfectly. We never got lost, we changed our mind and "Garminny Bit" changed with us. Yippee!

My first GPS unit so I don't have anything to compare it to. However I love it! I bought it knowing I would be renting a car in and out of LAX airport and wanted to get to and from my destination without reading maps or asking for directions. Passed the test with flying colors. Have also played with it at home and found a few shortcuts that I was not aware of. Very happy that I purchased it.

Easy to use and very accurate. I use it Boston and LosAngeles with great accuracy.

Before I bought the Garmin GPS I would print out the maps with directions. Now I don't have to memorize. I don't have to be distracted by peeking at the printout. I don't have to have 'map' discussions. And when I take a detour or make a stop the Garmin GPS tells me how to get back on course. It is the greatest!

Like the huge screen on this GPS. Garmin lifetime updates. Hreat maps as aleays with Garmin!

This is second Garmin we have purchased (first stolen from vehicle) and we use when running our grandchildren around a large city as well as on vacations to spots we've never been. It is so much easier than pulling out maps, plus it gives us arrival times and other info. Had to have this replacement quickly after theft of original.

It took me me just a little time to familiarize myself with this newer model since the previous one was at least 5 years old. I don't think of myself as being technically inclined. I love the larger screen. It would probably benefit an older person with problems with their sight. I also purchasd a new holder that sits on the dash instead of suctioning to the window which I'm really am thrilled with. Thanks Garmin!

Love the garmin. Love the size and price. It works well, so accurate. Would recommend it.

The screen is larger than many other GPS. This makes easy to enter addresses.
