I was very cautious was looking to purchase a GPS. I spent a lot of time reviewing Garmin and TomTom. Garmin had more pros then TomTom. Also, at a previous employer I used to Garmin GPS for long distance deliveries; I already knew how well they worked. Tis model is excellent! It is ready to go right out of the box. Unpack it, place the suction cup base to your windshield and plug it in. Set it for US on the main screen,... wait about 1 minute and it slows your location, then type in an address and hit "GO". I chose an address of a nearby mall just to test it. I have already used it on a trip and it works great. I'm very happy with my GPS. NOTE* you can find a manual in PDF format for free online to print out for it that shows how to perform ALL of the options available.

The Garmin GPS's are way better than Tom Toms. Shows more stops at a time.

The only issue I have found with this product is the capability to charge it in the house. Only charges in the car. Which can be a pain if you are using multiple electronics (kids tablets, phones ) . Love the updating and it notifying you of speed limit . Some times you get put on a road and there is no sign.

User friendly and easy to set up for first use. Great screen resolution.

Does everything well. Still hate the have to "agree" every time you start up.

I had to replace my old Garmin because it was outdated because it had no Bluetooth, so I shopped around and found this one at Best Buy. It's so easy to use and it was on sale for $80 less. I always enjoy shopping at Best Buy.

I believe using this type of device is safer than using a smart phone - the convenient windshield mount allows quick looks without taking your eyes off the road. Other than that, features such as detail graphics of road exits and interchanges help navigate through in a decisive manner.

Works great. Much better than my factory GPS. Garmin is the way to go.

I travel around several counties in the Chicago area. I needed to have hands off interaction. The voice command to change to a new address while driving and the bluetooth connection with my phone make getting around a snap.

This is the fourth Garmin I have owned over the last two decades. This one is clearly the best...because of refined quality of the basic maps and because of the new features such as voice commands, clearer sentence explanations of upcoming turns and lanes, and more details on the screen. The new features required a brief learning curve, but I sure do like them and very comfortable with them only one week after my purchase. It does everything as advertised, but better than I expected.

Use it daily for work and it never has any issues in remote areas

Love using the voice command while driving, features are nice. Easy to navigate. Suction cup isn't the greatest on the windshield but bought a dash mount to put it on, does stick better after using rubbing alcohol on it.

Very easy to configure and use and very compact which is nice in a small truck

This has really helped me as i travel a lot, surely recommend this to everyone.

I love my new garmin. My favorite feature is the built in blue tooth.
