This unit is easy to operate and offers you advanced features like voice command. I have used multiple brands and this one is as good as it gets for the price. Highly recommended!

This is not my first Garmin GPS and have liked the accuracy and display they provide. It continues with this model's 5" display and the fact that it has traffic updates is a pleasure.

The performance of this Garmin is very good! It is easy to use and very complete in directions and road information. I have had several Garmins in the past; this is by far the best unit.

I just returned from a two week trip in which we covered about 2500 miles across 4 states. I must say the 2589 lmt performed admirably the whole trip. In my opinion it is the perfect screen size for a vehicle GPS. Big enough to give you lots of info. yet small enough not to be in the way. Other reviewers mentioned the glare from the screen being an issue. I did not find this to be an issue at all. Not once did the reflection from the screen effect what I could see or do with the Nuvi, a total non issue. This is a big point because I almost let that reflection issue sway my decision on whether to buy this one, or one with a non-reflective screen.

Easy to use GPS. Very useful on a recent cross trip.

Made a minor error in programing a trip and Garmin corrected the error and plotted an alternate route to destination. Unit is easy to operate and instills confidence in its operation.

This was an update of my prior nuvi. Worked better than prior machine though it needed an update after opening. Description of road turns is greatly improved.

I purchased this Garmin to replace my ancient GPS; the screen is clear, colors are vibrant. Very easy to use and set up. Nice size; sits well in my car. Very pleased with this Garmin.

I purchased this Garmin GPS unit because I was going on a trip where my phone GPS usually losses service. The Garmin was awesome. It alerted me to traffic issues that were up ahead and did not lose service while in the mountains. This is the second Garmin I have owned and am very happy with this product. I also like the map updates and how you can find restaurants and gas stations on your route. I would highly recommend this product.

I enjoy using this gps. It's much easier to pull up the addresses than my old one. I haven't tried the blue tooth feature yet but am anxious to try it.The screen size is perfect.

I really like it, im still getting used to it, I know people love the voice talk now, but never saw the point, the gps shows an image of what lane you need to be in, which I really needed. If you are looking for something with voice recoginiton, get it

my most recent car is a vw passat which i insisted come with nav. it is a 2012 model with no way to update through vw. i had a garmin before which i could update and talk and i could talk to it. plus with this new one all i have to do is plug it in to cig lighter which makes it portable. great product.

Having been around GPS since its inception in the 1960's, I can say that this Garmin unit is an excellent GPS. First, it has all the ancillary functions such as bluetooth and traffic. The graphic presentation(s) and audio prompts are excellent, especially when in an unfamiliar situation. Where turns are needed, the pre-prompts are clear and timely and one knows exactly when to execute. No reason to miss the turn or whatever. Map updates are easy to accomplish. Just don't lose your passwords and booklet!

This is our favorite Garmin. We love the Garmin products but this one surpasses all of the prior ones. We love all the new features. You cannot go wrong with buying this GPS

easy to use, perfect size and works great. We use it for work and we travel the entire state of Illinois and we have no issues.

This GPS worked great on a long road trip, annouced delays and alternate routes. You also can sync your phone to it and answer phone calls. Another plus is the voice command.

While this Garmin is more useful and easier to use than our old TomTom, I find the bluetooth is very grainy sounding and you cannot hear the person on the other end very well. Also, the directions do not always show the quickest route.

My son needed a gps for a new job he was starting. I have used garmin gps for years . He loves the voice command and bluetooth . Very handy item to have in an older vehicle.

Light weight, great screen clarity and views for a GPS. Easy to use and satellite access seems pretty quick. The only challenge has been that traffic accuracy has been sometimes off - telling me traffic is moving when I am at a dead stop. That may not be the device itself but the traffic monitoring system.
