This gps is has many features and easy to understand.this is the unit 2589lmt The only draw back is the instruction book which you have to down load on line.

This GPS takes me from point A to point B in no time. Very accurate and also tells me about accident and the Bluetooth feature works great.

The Garmin 2589 GPS functions very well. I like the lane assist feature which alerts me to exactly whihc lane to be in, although sometimes a little late. I don;t particularly like the mount. The 3589 with the magnetic mount is much easier to use.

Gave this to my granddaughter. She absolutely loved it. Easy to use. Bright display. Very accurate. Great price

I had to replace my older Garmin GPS for a new one. This GPS does the job that it's needs to do. I like how the GPS displays the exit signage if you're like me and might miss the exit.

Easy to use and get started, but lost route while on freeway. May have been the area and bad signals. Voice command is helpful when driving by yourself.

Never owned a GPS before and decided to get one based on future travel plans.Found the unit extremely easy to operate and especially like spoken directions.Voice recognition a bit spotty and have to repeat addresses at times.Recalculates quickly and accurately.Even though phones can serve the same function,I like that this is a dedicated GPS device using no phone data time.Best Buy associate was knowedgable on product functions and usage.Very happy with purchase and sale price as I saved a considerable amount over normal retail price.

BOUGHT PRODUCT ON SALE, AND BB STILL GAVE ME PRICE MATCH FROM ANOTHER STORE. HAPPY WITH CHOICE I MADE. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE VOICE COMMAND FEATURE; EASY TO USE, AND VERY CONVENIENT WHILE DRIVING. THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT GIVE ALL FIVE STARS IS THAT SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO REPEAT YOURSELF USING VOICE COMMAND BEFORE GETTING RESULTS NEEDED. BUT OVERALL WORKS GOOD AS LONG AS YOU SPEAK CLEARLY, AND LOUDLY WITHOUT ANY BACKGROUND NOISE; LIKE RADIO FOR INSTANCE.

This is a great GPS. It is easy to set up and use. It has never steered us wrong and sends us on a new route when traffic is heavy.

The user interface is a little clunky compared to -- for example -- a smart phone maps app, and it's not always intuitive which option to select (for example, it's possible to track down a train station using the Category feature, but apparently it won't find a cemetary), but if you have an address, a business name, or at least a street name, it'll get you where you need to go. The voice commands are an excellent feature that take the device from "decent" to "great", and the option to have traffic updates (with smartphone connection) could be useful in the future.

My Nuvi 760 served me well for 10 years and it finally gave out. The 2589LMT has more features at half the cost. And a larger screen.

This device teamed with friction stand makes for great hands free navigation. Gets you to your destination every time. Easy to use.

easy to use ,loads much faster than my old garman,Voice command nice when you are driving alone and need to find a spot to eat or shop.

This was a present to my son and he said it works perfect and is so happy to have it especially with the lifetime maps and traffic.

The Garmin has a new voice and a slightly different - and more helpful - way of giving directions. I love that it now tells you which lanes to be in on the freeway as Los Angeles interchanges can be a bit tricky when there's traffic.

I was looking for a evenly priced GPS with traffic and lifetime updates... This was a great choice and I love the voice command feature.

This one has the 5" screen but is still large enough to see...it has great graphics and the directions are very easy to understand.

Easy to use, reasonably intuitive (though you may have to "unlearn" a previous system, as I did). Sharp, clear pictures. Easy to save places, remembers previous areas (useful if you tool around in a local area frequently, but don't know it well enough to go solo). Boots up quickly. I found it worked best for me with a dash mount (I have a Jeep Wrangler) rather than the window mount provided. Would have preferred a USB power cord over the cigarette plug-in (the USB cord included is really best for attaching to the computer at home), but it works well.

love this GPS. Had an earlier model Garmin, for several years. just wanted something a little more up to date. Love the traffic alerts and digital images of Road Signs/Exit signage.
