I use this GPS daily while working. The voice recognition is a great feature. I have to talk loudly, but am able to change routes, search for locations, and control the unit without while driving without having to touch the screen. I recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable, easy to use GPS.

This is a gift for our son. When we looked at all of them on display, this one has the clearest clarity with the brand we wanted.

We've had two Garmin GPS's before and this one has improved greatly with better sensitivity touch screen AND voice command. Also the ‘recalculating’ function when the driver makes mistakes is a huge improvement, very f-a-s-t recalculation (almost instantly) and no annoying voice saying, “recalculating...”

live traffic works great and will ask if you want to reroute if delays are too long. If you are in an area where it works. good for finding places along the route. Also asks if you want toll roads and tell how much time you will save. Glare was not a problem on my dash.(read some complaints of that.)

This GPS has a great screen and easy to read even in bright sunlight. Great turn-by-turn voice navigation feature.

When I try to look for a place of business it does not understand what I am saying.

This is my second Garmin GPS, I have no problems with my first one just wanted a newer style that has more options. This one works great, I like how it shows the construction areas that where ahead, and like how the screen change to show you which lane you need to be in when driving in unfamiliar cities.

Impressive unit considering the relatively low cost. I really like the display graphics as well as the screen size. As others have mentioned, the screen is pretty reflective. but there is no perfect world and I am not going to deduct a star for that. The initial set up can take several hours as you have to download all updates to the unit on your computer, I was not able to update using Windows XP and had to change to a Windows 10 computer. A couple of interesting features:the GPS alerts you .2 miles ahead when approaching a school zone which took me by surprise initially. On further reflection, this feature could keep you out of trouble if you have a lead foot and are easily distracted, It also learns your driving habits and tells you at the end of the day that you are, e.g., " 13 minutes from home and there is no traffic." At first I thought that I was in the Twilight Zone, but I am now getting used to it's "intelligence." I am looking forward to purchasing a companion backup camera that work via bluetooth.

Feel this device is fast and easy to utilize. It also has good optiobs for paths.

replaced old garmin that was no longer able to get map updates. new garmin with voice recognition is nice when it can understand what you are saying, sometimes a little tough. I like the way it lets you know well in advance what lane you should be in in multiple lane situations, also add'l view of road is great.

I bought this for a wedding gift of my friend. They really love it. A great new generation product from Garmin.

After a week of research, I decided to purchase this model. I am glad I did. It worked perfect on a trip to California. Not a single glitch! I HIGHLY recommend this model for overall navigation. The software is also very useful for planning trips as well. The best part is the simplicity!

Much easier to view display than other units I've had. Great features and severally possible accessories.

Production contained a lot of useful information and was very easy to use. It was very helpful when we needed to avoid back ups and get around long delays. The warnings about delays ahead were most helpful as were the notices of upcoming restaurants and fuel. Product met all of our needs.

I purchased this unit to replace a Garmin I have owned for about 6-7 years. The battery went bad in the old unit and the memory wouldn't accept the updates even with a memory card in the slot. Garmin tried to help but not able to make it work but since the battery was fried, time to replace. Bought this unit on sale during the holidays. By time you factor in the lifetime maps and traffic, the actual unit was only about $40 since the lifetime map cards run in excess of $75 unless you find a great deal. The upgrades made to the software are great. Much faster connection to satellites, lane recommendations are spot on, and even the recalculating of routes is quicker. Some complain no notice on the recalculating but not really an issue. The pop up screen with traffic issues ahead is great so you can actually see how far ahead and figure most will be gone by time you get to them. Highly recommend this unit. I wouldn't even consider a unit that wasn't Garmin but this model is great.

Great GPS especially with lifetime maps. This is better than trying to use my mobile device

Battery life only 30 minutes. First Garmin that I have owned that is hard to use.

Good sound, directions, rerouting. Maps are clear and effective. Has a few extra bells and whistles--Bluetooth and voice for example-- that require a little study and practice. Best for those with previous experience using GPS. All around good navigator. Traffic updates very helpful.
