Needed for a road trip. Turn by turn directions, on multi lane changes, it zooms in and identifies which lane you should be in well in advance. Rerouted pretty quickly. Screen was well lit. Didn't want to use my phone for the 8 hour drive and this more than made up for it.

I wish I could combine the features of my old Nuvi 50 and this one. The "print" is smaller and harder for me to read, but I like the ability to use Basecamp and program the route I want to take. The voice command is a nice feature to be able control the unit and keep focused on the driving.

I had an older model Garmin Nuvi and it was time to upgrade. I chose this model because of the hands-free Voice Command feature. Just verbally prompt the GPS, speak the address, and away you go. So far it works great!

I love this GPS. the voice activation feature is phenomenal. The only negative bit I have to say about the unit is that we were traveling during the time when hurricane Matthew was approaching the eastern coast of the US, and we were not informed about the closure of one of the interstates that South Carolina was using both directions for evacuation purposes. We had to use my phone's navigation app to direct us to an alternate route upon this discovery. Other than that, this GPS is amazing and I love it. Thanks Best Buy and Garmin!

Replaced our old GPS (not a Garmin) with this one and are very satisfied. Improvements included voice command and better graphics. We really like this system and will use it much more often than we did the old one. Recommended by the staff member that helped us and couldn't be happier.

The Garmin Nuvi models we bought and used for years for our small fleet of 6 trucks were discontinued, so we had to find a replacement. This model is a huge upgrade for us, with bigger brighter screens, faster performance, better PC connectivity for uploading locations, and more refined features overall. All this, however, means little if the device(s) die after a short time in use. From January to March of 2017, we bought a total of 6 of this unit at our local Best Buy. 3 of them, so far, have died completely within a few weeks of their being installed in the trucks and had to be returned for replacement. 2 of the replacements did the same thing and also had to be replaced. I have another on my desk now (I've lost track of which one it is) that has to be returned for replacement.

Good price and good GPS. Garmin products are nice quality. Lifetime map updates are pretty sweet.

The gps is very good. But the mounting arm/suction cup are worthless.

I loved the GPS system. It was great on our trip up to New York from Alabama. The only thing that didn't work well was the voice command feature. When we would say a place it wouldn't recognize it. Could be our accent though. But other than that it was well worth the money.

I really like this Garmin I had a few. the screen has a nice view and very fast finding locations.

From always having issues using nav on any of phones. Taking too long to recalculate or stating where you need to turn after you passed it. This is a very accurate unit it's spot on when it comes to changing routes and recalculating. It has a good amount of features as well.

The Garmin GPS has been improved since my old model. The on/off switch on this one is on the back rather than on the top edge, so I don't accidentally turn it off while gripping it. The online map updates are easier and faster. I also appreciate the lifetime traffic updates.

Good for what it is for but I can not hear it it will not sync to my iphone for traffic but I will keep it.

Gets me where needed. I like the voice control as well as the traffic volume updates. I also like that this model will/can ask each time if you want to take toll roads or have it calculate a way without them.

Without the need to read the manual first, this unit is easy to set up and get started. It takes little time for the GPS to acquire its positon. Both in U.S. and Canada, this GPS unit provided very detailed and accurate directions. Very happy with this purchase.

Simple and easy to use. I even got my Mom using it on our recent trip. She named her "Sally".

I purchase new GPS every year due to the fact that i have a wrecker company and we are either breaking them or they just slow in performance. This particular GPS has a glass touch screen unlike the plasma or whatever the other ones are made of. That was the first selling point for me. My experience the touch screen is the first thing to malfunction. This screen is very accurate and only reads where you touch. Secondly this thing is fast. The auto fill and route calculation is really quick. Third I updated the software the day i purchased it which included the latest maps. I have found no inaccuracies yet. I know there are cheaper models but this one is worth the extra $50 if you are on the road as much as i am.
