Returned another brand for more user friendly Garmin. I have an older GPS and it was great and easy to use. Garmin was a little more expensive, but much more user friendly and still had lifetime maps and traffic (traffic did not require cell phone use to access).

GPS gets some time to get used to the features. Love the voice command feature. Also, highlighted road signs with speed limit within the area. Also, shows you restaurants, gas stations within your area. The down side would be sometimes waiting for the gps signal.

Bought it for the Mexico maps for our trips to Mexico. It met all my expectations.

Map and visuals are great. Heads up on where to go for gas, food, etc. is handy.

As long as this one doesn't freeze up on e while I'm driving again, I like the features it offers

I bought this product after reading all the positive review, guess what. It is get to have, safe me a lot of travel time and avoid toll and auto crash on my way to work. I navigate the city with full confidence that i can always trace my way back.

I purchased a car without a GPS . Since then I've been using my phone via google maps for directions but i found it hard driving and holding the phone at the same time . Bought this garmin from Best Buy, it's awesome, user friendly! More than 5 stars.

We have owned other GPS brands in the past and will always go with Garmin from here on out. It is the most user friendly and always gets us to where we need to go. I also recommend getting the traffic updates which have saved us hours on the road.

I travel 22 miles 1 way to work everyday., and I'm on the interstate! The voice commands are great & I love knowing when congestion is going to happen! I don't akways care for the alternate route, but it does keep moving

I use my new Garmin nuvi 2589 LMT to drive around the city, county and the state. It works great. It helps me to maneuver from address to the next address. It also helps me find the closest restaurants , Banks, or anything else I am looking for.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the Garmin Nuvi 2589 works and how easy it is to use, especially with voice recognition. With easy to read maps and clear and concise voice commands this GPS surpasses my expectations for this basic GPS.

Please buy this GPS, it's a great worth. It gives very easy and smooth instructions

Overall a good purchase. However there are some problems with the voice recognition ability.

Replaced a new TomTom with this Garmin. Before TomTom, owned a Garmin. Once you've experienced the ease of use of Garmin you won't be satisfied with other brand. TomTom was so frustrating and definitely NOT user friendly. Garmin is the best !

Bought this GPS to replace a Tom Tom unit I have had for 2 years. The screen resolution is far superior to the old unit. Garmin made a very user friendly unit and it is a pleasure to use. Would not hesitate buying another Garmin in the future.

Love it. Gives good traffic info and does good at sending you the shortest route.

We purchased this GPS for my husband a year ago. When we wanted one for our son, we chose this one too. Lifetime Maps, lane notification and updates are a minor reason to purchase this. This GPS is easy to use and learns your favorite ways around.
