Ireally like the camera feature it's a great thing to have

I bought this GPS for a trip to Montreal. It was extremely easy to use and essential for efficient travel around all the construction in Montreal.

Upgraded from a Garmin I purchased in 2010. This product has so many great and easy to use features. I especially appreciate the split screen photo that populates an actual color photo of the exit!

This gps is very nice. I like the on screen caller id when connected to my blue tooth and the accuracy of the road maps. Simple to follow and easy to use. From city driving to highway driving. Its a great device

I love that you can just talk to it and tell it what to find. It makes it so much easier. Don't ask it to find Pokemon though...that doesn't work.

This was a quick and easy set up. Was able to practically plug in and go. Still learning some of the features, but am very pleased with this! Already planning to purchase a couple more as gifts.

This is my first GPS & I wonder what took me so long. No more fumbling with maps & printing out directions from the internet. The Garmin 2589 is so easy to use, just enter your destionation & go.

Nice item if you do not have a built in. Great directions and love the option to search for places along the way. Very easy to add in an additional stop. Keeps you on track for on time arrival.

Having to replace my old Garmin Nuvi I started looking at the features available on their offerintgs. I'd always wished I had voice recognition for my GPS, so I decided to try the 2589lmt. In a word WOW!

Good GPS as long as it is up to date. It has a separate window when a turn is coming up that identifies the lane you should be in.

Replaced an older Garmin with this one. The glass screen is very bright Bluetooth works pretty good. I updated as soon as I got home and took off. Got me where I was going. Great unit.

The Bluetooth feature works great with phones to provide hands free talking in my husband's jeep patriot which did not have the feature. The maps screen and features are user friendly.

Our old GPS quit working while we were on vacation, so we needed to buy another one at that time. We are pretty happy with this product, we haven't read the manual yet but it was pretty easy to figure out.

Needed a new GPS, after using a garmin for a long time it finally broke. Had always been pleased with garmin, so I bought another. Still learning all the new features, but am really pleased with it.

Highly effective GPS, which ensures navigational precision. The Garmin support is incredibly responsive to all product questions. Totally recommend thus product to all you travelers out there!

I was initially rather enthusiastic about this new product, but my excitement has waned a bit. Among the positives was the removal of the continuous and annoying "Recalculating" expression which, on my old Garmin Nuvi, would nag me every time I chose to deviate from the device's prescribed route. This device does indeed recalculate, but does so silently (and very quickly). Another positive is the screen is larger, clearer, easier to read with some new features showing scenes of exits and intersections where a turn is involved. Now the negatives: Announcing the location of schools and alerts to reduce speed is often not accurate - apparently there are imaginary schools in the map room that we mortals cannot see. On a recent trip the Nuvi was wrong half the time. As other have eluded to, the device sometimes has some left-right issues - pointing to the left but telling you to go right. Sort of like what 5 year olds occasionally do. But the most annoying feature! The database of addresses is incomplete! Recently, I tried to plot a route to a location and the Nuvi simply could not find it! The device did not even show the street where the fairly large old mill with 100 plus businesses were located. I think the mill has been there since the 1800 so it is not a "new" location. I've filed two bug reports to Garmin on this issue and got some stupid auto response about not being responsible for the maps contained within. Bull S***. But what that means is it is not the device, per se, but all of the devices that use that mapping system. Interestingly, my 8 year old Nuvi doesn't have that problem. So, I'm not recommending this device. I think Garmin needs to accept responsibility for the inaccuracies and deficiencies of the mapping software and fix immediately or take the devices off the market.

Best Garman I've ever purchased. It actually does take shortcuts & The size of the screen is perfect on this one . I've had to previously but this one turned out to be the best one yet !

I literally use this everyday, I am new in this city! And wth out this GARMIN I would be lost. This model is the way to go, I have tried other models and wouldn't go with any other model.

I bought the device for use when I started my new delivery job. Haven't once regretted the decision to buy this GPS unit. From voice control to hands free phone calls this GPS device has saved me time and increased my productivity. Granted it's not always perfect, there are some addresses that are not where they should be but that is due to the map provider and not the GPS unit itself. Also voice control is pretty accurate but it has on occasion misheard addresses. It doesn't happen often but when it does I just type it in manually. Still I can find virtually 98% of what I search for with the built in abilities of the GPS unit combined with the FourSquare functionality.
