The new one functions much like the other one, however it DOES NOT tell you (upon arriving at your destination) whether or not it is located on the right or the left hand side of the road/street (my previous one did).

I bought this for myself after giving my older one to a friend to help with his travel for work. My first was very similar, but the picture on the new one's screen is even clearer than the old one. If you are looking for a great GPS at a very reasonable cost, this is the way to go!
