I got this as a gift for my friend who was moving to an area she's not familiar with. She loves it and it keeps her safe. She doesn't get lost and roam into dangerous areas. Wonderful gift. I plan to get one for myself too.

I purchased this GPS online at a discounted price, works as good as advertised. Voice command does not work well and pics other stuff but otherwise no issues. Shows exit line, school zone warning etc.

I have enjoyed my Garmin since 2009, but my husband and daughter had Magellans, they were always borrowing my Garmin Nuvi, because it was easy to use. So finally bought one for my husband for Christmas!

I haven't had this garmin for long but so far am pleased with it as the screen is bright enough to see with my poor eyesight It will require further evaluation but so far so good

We bought this model to upgrade from our older Garmin. It works great. The screen is clear and easy to see from all angles. The traffic alert isn't great but overall this is a very good GPS. Garmin makes a good product.

Really like the GPS we bought. The one we had before was not good at all and we had lots of problems with it.Staff was great and were a lot of help with the exchange. We had no problems exchanging it.

I love the features of this GPS. One of my favorite thins is that the GPS will post the speed signs. on screen. So even if I forget the current speed or I wasn't paying attention, the GPS has it on the screen.

Love this gps unit. With the exception of some newer sub divisions it has gotten me everywhere I need to be. Being able to use the units hands free feature allows me to keep my focus on the road. A true life saver

Purchased this to replace older Garmin. Overall it works ok, once the right information is imputed, meaning, the voice program doesn't work that well. Every time I try to use the voice program it never recognizes what is said. For some reason it sends information for different states and countries. Even if I mention the city and state it still provides wrong information. Also, it doesn't show what the current usage was, such as miles, fuel used, duration of trip. This can't be downloaded and if you want it you have to purchase the program. This needs to be fixed to get a better rating.

The voice prompts every move you need to make, i.e. turn left at stop light, stay in second left turn lane, etc. The Garmin tells you everything you need to do , so you never have to look at it.

This is my 3 Garmin and by far has the best maps of all of them so far, it is easy to use. The only thing i don't like is the screen has a glass like finish and get's a glare on it in the direct sunlight.

I purchased this for work. Very helpful & convenient. Easy to setup & use. The voice activation is a great feature too. The screen is clear & a decent size. At this price, a great purchase.

My Garmin Nuvi 2589lmt 5 is a very nice unit but Best Buy's availability left something to be desired. There are multiple stores in the area that I live in, but I had to go out of town to get it.

Voice recognition is cool, the device itself works well most of the time but I find that google maps on my phone does a better job a lot of the time

The garmin is easy to set up and use. Maps a pretty accurate. A little disappointed in the traffic feature. Not sure that it was worth the extra money to get it.

Easy to use and once updates installed better. Only issue is sometimes the voice command operation can be annoying even when speaking clearly it can't figure out what you are stating. Otherwise good system.

This is not the first Garmin I have owned, but it will be my last. First there are only a hand full of set voice commands and the traffic needs an extra component. There is no security so you can't lock the device and even with new maps I am missing some new local sites. This pushes me back to google maps on my phone! There are good points, the screen is large clear and bright. The boot up is quick and instructions are accurate. I never used the Bluetooth so I can't review it.

I am a tow truck driver. This Garmin has worked phenomenally for me. The Traffic updates are great which allow me to be able to take alternate routes so I can get to my members quicker!

I liked it! It's a good device and better than the google maps app on my cell phone because the image os the map doesn't be interrupt by a phone call. The tone of the voice is clear too.

This GPS does everything I wanted ! It offers hands free operation of my phone and lane assist that is remarkable! It also has a remarkable price. You won't go wrong it you purchase this GPS!
