Just like previous model it tries to follow major highways. Wish GPS and MapQuest would sync up together. The larger screen and matte screen very helpful to see details better.

It also gives you the street name so you know you above the correct st. This is my second GPS and it is far better then the first one I purchased. It also shows you a picture of your exit when you are getting off the freeway.

Posted .Sorry for any confusion the mapping may have displayed on the device. We actually update mapping four times a year. You can update by downloading Garmin Express at www.garmin.com/express. We also have our d?zl line which is designed for automotive devices that are specific for truck drivers like hauling large freight.

Great straight out of the box

Make it more simple to use. I'm tired of spending so much time going through the choises it wants to give me.

This is my first Garmin GPS. I'm very impressed with the tech support and help that they gave me. I lost Internet during download. The help line was great.

I can save addresses and go back in recent to see that places I had been to. I wish this device would let me know if the traffic is heavy or there is an accident but that would have cost more. Overall this a good GPS and I do recommend it.

We bought this for our daughter who doesn't have a smart phone with GPS. If you don't have a smart phone and need GPS this is a good option.
