It does not speak or repeat enough. So I will sometimes be a block to far , before she talks. Had me driving in circles when she lost the signal and the end was that I never found the address and had to go home.

One has lifetime map updates and the other does not. The one without also is a 3.5" screen size, so I was looking for an upgrade. The 6" screen on the 65LM is great. It is much easier to read than the 5" screen and has some new features that increase convenience. That annoying "RECALCULATING" message is finally gone. It just presents the next alternate route when you don't follow instructions. I have used it a few times already and have no complaints. It does have a large screen that blocks part of your view if you mount it on the windshield. A dash mount would eliminate that concern. I have never experienced any quality or performance issues with Garmin GPS units.
