Posted .Hello Bird - thanks for sharing your review of your new spacemaker washer and dryer unit. We're glad you like them. If the dryer is taking too long to dry, please disconnect power to the unit at the main power supply and check the venting going to the outside. The venting needs to be clear in order to blow the moisture outside. If the dryer is still humid after the cycle, this indicates a blocked exhaust. We hope this helps! Rinse spin cycle does a really good job of pulling out the majority of water. Dryer is fairly large. Overall happy with it so far. Delivery was on time and the installers were very professional.

It just sits, clicks and leaves clothes in water; have to press button to start again. Called BestBuy service department (800#) and they would not do anything about it and had to call GE under manufacturer's warranty. Issue still not resolved. The only thing good about this particular machine is the "space saving" for small areas and delicate loads. If you have heavy loads and extremely soiled clothes such as construction workers or lawn maintenance; DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.

The cabinet seemed too light for the drum. I thought it was just a dud so I returned it to find the next one was too! So i picked out a traditional separate unit that i am happy with. It broke my heart though because i love the space effiency of the combo unit.
