Ge profile washer and dryer

Set up could have went smoother if we would have known exactly which electric cord was coming with the dryer. A 4 prong cord is what was sold with it and a 3 prong outlet is what was needed.

Good Washer

The auto-sensing system works great. The washer is quite loud compared to other washing machines but I am not worried about the sound. In the end, the clothes get cleaned.

Posted .Your new washer may sound different from your prior unit because of the newer technology. Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. We recommend you review the "Sounds" section on pg. 28 of the Owner's Manual.

Its not as quiet as I thought it would be but other than thats its been working pretty good. I also like how deep/big it is which makes fitting larger loads easy.

With the see through lid, you can watch the entire cycle. It does not use a lot of water, so I always wash in deep fill mode to fully cover my very large loads with water. It does a good job during agitation of moving the clothes around. I love using the time delay feature!

This smart washer has made life so much easier. With the wide variety of setting combinations I can set up the washer and then start by my phone to wash at night when electric rates are cheaper. My clothes come out fresh and clean and with controlling the spin cycle I can take care of delicates more easily. I can also wash giant king size comforters and do a double spin to make the drying time less. No more going to a commercial laundromat for washing these huge comforters.

Decent machine

Highly recommend using the deep wash option for bulky items. It's a little louder than my previous washing machine so hopefully it works for awhile. The price is high though, $699....

Nosy at start and no charm when done.

The display panel stop working. I love the color BUT when it starts it makes lots of loud sound. Like the gears are connecting but they are. It works. Also when the washer finishes there no beep or charms to indicate it finished.
