Unfortunately is is so load, my husband hates it. I think it does a great job and provides many washing options plus and can wash my wired bras with no concern of damage.

Posted .We appreciate you reaching out to us. We encourage you to doublecheck to be sure your washer is level as that could affect the sound level. The directions to check the leveling and adjust as needed are available in the online Owner's Manual.

My wife was really excited, and was the one who made the final choice to buy this washer. The downside to it is that it is the noisiest washer I have ever owed. As it's washing it sounds like a cheap piece of tin. Very disappointed in GE.

Not so excellent out of the box

Other than that it washes great, easy to use and i love the compartment to put my pods and fabric softner in. Keeps it clean.

There are so many things wrong with it. It doesn't agitate the clothes well enough. My clothes never smell clean. I use more water and more soap than my old washer. And it is so loud! There is a power surge every time the the impeller changes directions. (My electrical panel is up to date). Please do not buy this washer!

Posted .We want to help you with your washer not agitating your clothes properly and their smell. We recommend making sure you are loading your items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, filling in towards the center on larger loads. This will make sure that the unit stays in balance. You can find additional information on the article titled "Top Load Washer - Wet Clothes Concerns" on the GE Appliances website.
To help with your clothing smell, we recommend using High Efficiency detergents such as Tide PODS™ and liquid detergents while following the instructions labeled on the packaging. High Efficiency detergents are formulated to work with low water wash and rinse systems.

Went back to the agitator

What a difference it makes! Clothes are much cleaner. I made the right choice.

Clothes rub against each other, but the clothing on top sometimes do not get wet. Big drum!! Can't fill it all the way Washing options do not allow you to choose water level. Drain hose is to short When the drum is unbalanced washer jumps all over. You have to remove/redistribute clothes until the washer is happy. A store employee talked me into this washer. BIG MISTAKE
