Not a Fan!!

They just don't make appliances like they used to. I want to be able to select my load size and type and just go. The locking lid was ridiculous. The clothes have to be put in first and then the machine "senses" the load by weight. Even with the "deep fill" option [which only worked for me twice during the 3 weeks that I kept the machine] my clothes never got wet enough and with no agitator, the impeller just doesn't get it done. The loads were LOUD and took 2 to 3 times longer to get through a cycle than my Kenmore. I ended up buying a part and fixing my old machine myself and it now works beautifully. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

What's with the pump?

Day 3 the pump started making a horrible noise whenever it's running ... super loud and consistent ... we will see if they stand behind it.

Posted .We certainly want to assist with any issue you're having with your washer. Troubleshooting tips are available starting on page 22 of your manual, which is available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page. Sounds are specifically discussed on page 24. Among other tips, we recommend ensuring the washer is leveled (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed); if it's not level, that may lead to extra vibration and noise. We also have an article about noises on our GE Appliances website, titled "Top Load Washer - Noises Heard During Agitation"; you can view that when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab. If after reviewing those resources you still think the noise isn't normal, Bodewell (GE Appliances' team of appliance care experts) can be reached at 833-426-3393. It’s not WiFi compatible like the washer and you have to purchase a separate connector which isn’t known until after purchase which was another disappointment
