Posted .We are sorry to hear your washer is louder than you expected. It is true that your new washer will sound different from your previous model. You'll hear clicking, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. If you view page 28 in your manual, you'll see a QR code that you can scan with your phone. The manual can be found on our GE Appliances site and Best Buys site. Joyce@GEAppliances

Bought it for my daughter as a house warming gift, and within two months it has flooded her laundry room four times. GE customer service is abysmal. They have sent techs out 4 times, twice saying they found different problems, twice saying there was nothing wrong. GE still has not fixed the washer and when I requested a replacement, GE told me we have not had enough failures to qualify for replacement yet. I will never consider another GE product. Buyer beware, GE produces garbage, and their warranty is useless.

Had it less than 3 months and already had to call for repair. It does not do large loads at all well.. cannot balance larger loads in cycles.

Noisy and water issue

The washer is very loud, and it would release small volumes of water throughout the day while the washer was idle/inactive. I don't know if every customer experiences a similar issue. It does have neat features, and it does look aesthetically pleasing, but I was not satisfied with my overall purchase unfortunately.
