Water level too low

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We returned this washer because we did not believe that the water level, even when selecting the Deep Fill option, was sufficient to wash the load. This was true for all sizes of loads, from small to full size. Example: for a large load I manually added 6 gallons to the wasber in order to have sufficient water to wash the load. Without the extra water some of the items were never submerged in water during the entire cycle. Note that this was necessary during both the wash and rinse cycles.

Posted .This washer is a high-efficiency washing machine with a system that requires less water while providing effective cleaning action. You may notice that the water level is lower than on your previous washer. This is normal. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.

When the cycle was fine the 3 items which was a shower curtain and 2 floor Matt’s were soak and wet! I am now waiting on my appointment which is next week for someone to come and look at it. OMG brand new

Put it on hottest wash for sheets and the water never was above 81. Clearly lets in a lot more cold water than necessary. The warm was was all cold water. Worst machine we have ever purchased. 48 hours after delivery we arranged to return it for a different brand / model

That being said, I've had this washer for 3 months, and it started leaking water everywhere while in use. We called Geek Squad, they said we had to wait 3 days for a tech, which, ok. But this guy turns out to not be a tech, but an installer, who says he can't do anything for us and we need to make another appointment. So we call Geek Squad again, who tells us oops, you have to contact GE. So we call GE and it will be TEN DAYS before anyone can get out here to fix this machine. I have 3 kids, 2 of them being teenage girls. Every parent out there, especially of a teen, knows how quickly laundry piles up with them, so now I have to either utilize family members' machines or go to a laundromat for the next 10 days (it's been 2 days since the tech was here, so technically 8 days now, but still). This is unacceptable to me; I'm so disappointed with this purchase and the customer service. My LG top-loader was working just fine, I should have kept it and only replaced my dryer.
