Loud!

I am not sure if this is normal for this appliance or if I was delivered a bad unit, but it is much much louder than the 11 year old appliance it replaced. I would not buy again.

Regarding the noise, you may want to make sure the load size is appropriate for the cycle you’ve chosen, the basket is loaded evenly and the washer itself is level; an uneven load or the washer itself being uneven may cause additional vibration and add to the noise level. If it might be helpful, there’s a description of noises the washer may make on page 24 of the manual, which you can view on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. Posted .We want to help go over the sound level you are noticing with your washer. We first recommend checking that your unit is completely level to the ground. This will help prevent out of balance conditions from occurring and reduce extra sounds. You can level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. We recommend checking our article titled "Top Load Washer - Noises Heard During Agitation" located on our GE Appliances website in the support section. This article has a list of sounds that are normal to notice.

Worse Purchase Ever

Owned it less than a month and it is already broken. Will not spin and keeps making a clicking noise over and over again. Completely my fault I did not get the Best Buy warranty because we did not expect it to last less than a month. Now we have to wait over a week to get someone to look at it. Back to the laundry mat we go because we can not go without clean clothes. So not only are we out almost $1500.00 that we paid for the set now we are out money to go elsewhere to get our clothes washes.

But otherwise it's a nice machine.

Posted .Hello- We appreciate your purchase and hope the more you use your new washer the more you will like it. This is a really nice model. The machine will automatically drain any time the lid is left open for more than 15 minutes and water is present. If the washer is in a paused state with the lid closed for more than 24 hours and water is present the washer will come on and drain the water. We hope this is helpful.
