Out with the old GE washers and in with the new, am I right? Nope. Couldn’t be farther from the truth. Yes. They’re fancy. They have Wi-Fi capability which means you can monitor the wash from the comfort of an app on your phone. However, don’t let the sleek design fool you - they are rigged to go bad around the time the warranty is set to expire. I haven’t had this many issues with a washer made decades ago. Just run. Stay away.

The reason this is getting a bad review is because it tool 3 attempts to finally have a working washer and dryer. More than a month since I placed the order. First the dryer came in messed up, it was really loud. Then they exchanged the dryer and washer. Second attempt it was the washer that was bad, it couldn’t start or take in any water. This was a bad experience and I won’t be buying appliances from best buy again.

The towel setting is not great for towels, you have to use bulky or the water doesnt drain. Water doesnt evenly sprad through the load and you can fill tub to the capacity or it gets thrown pff balance. No need for a deep, large tub if it cant handle the loads.

Posted .The Towels and Bulky are similar cycles. It is fine to use whatever cycle works best for you. We do recommend that you select the Deep Fill so that you can have the most water for the cycle. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. If you continue to have issues, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to Bodewell Service by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393)

There is a helpful chart on page 8 of the use and care manual that we can link here- https://content.syndigo.com/asset/0e2ba3f9-96f6-42c7-a046-156d07c867eb/original.pdf. That helps show in details how and when you use certain cycle selections on your unit. There is also some troubleshooting information in the manual if you need that as well.
