We bought this unit with the matching dryer. The cost, style and load size are very appealing (especially when on sale) however I’m not completely sold on performance. There are times when using this unit that the drum will out of now where get out of sync mid spin cycle and pound on the sides of the washer body, if you’re able to see the sides you can see them protruding from their normal shape when the drum hits them. Other than that and the time of wash cycles I have been generally happy…. But beware of the matching dryer…

Once again GE Profile lives up to its quality claims. This smart washer has made life so much easier. With the wide variety of setting combinations I can set up the washer and then start by my phone to wash at night when electric rates are cheaper. My clothes come out fresh and clean and with controlling the spin cycle I can take care of delicates more easily. I can also wash giant king size comforters and do a double spin to make the drying time less. No more going to a commercial laundromat for washing these huge comforters.

Washes good, wasn't sure about it without the agitator but it does a good job.

After our previous bosch washing machine started leaking water, my mom wanted to get a new one. She immediately wanted this one when we went to best buy. Im not sure why, she says she has an instinct for the best thing to get. Best Buy had it delivered and installed very smoothly. However, when we first started using it, it would vibrate violently and move around if we used the bulky setting. It also makes different noises when compared to our previous machine. However, after switching to normal wash mode, the vibrating stopped and now is fine. We were thinking of returning it but thankfully it “behaves” now and washes our clothes fine.

Works really well pretty much self-explanatory has a good capacity. It works very well. It would be a good purchase

The washing machine itself works great. My wife and I both notice that it gets our clothes cleaner than our previous one. I ordered and paid for this product over the phone, and early enough in the process to handle it appropriately, I specifically mentioned to the customer service person taking that someone else would be picking the item up. Unfortunately, that someone else would pick it up could not be accounted for, and so I had to cancel my first order and have a second one processed. Very frustrating - doh!

We lover the performance of our new GE Profile 5.0 cu. ft High Efficiency Smart Top Load Washer. It washes king size blankets with no issues.

Works great, easy to install, I am no mechanic lol and not very good at fixing things but it was easy to install and was ready to use right away!

I absolutely love this washer. Finally, have the matching set. Its super easy to use and keep clean. The automatic dispenser is a time saver.

Very large washer, I could easily put a king size comforter in to wash. completes cycle in approx. 45 min. Clothes come out clean.

I love this washer that washes so much at once. It can hold a lot of clothes and gets them very clean. Plus the app that goes with it tells you when your wash is about done. Plus a bunch of other things. It's awesome!!

It's a little quirky you need to make sure that it's leveled absolutely on center or it will rock. Highly recommend using the deep wash option for bulky items. It's a little louder than my previous washing machine so hopefully it works for awhile. The price is high though, $699....

The machine has done a good job washing clothes. I like that a large comforter fits. I'm still learning the settings. The motor is noisier than I expected.

Love the deep fill option…I feel that the extra water helps clean my clothes. May need to call to get it serviced because the drum “thumps” against the sides when washing sheets or towels. It self corrects after a few spins but it shouldn’t do that to begin with. If they can fix this issue, I would give it 5 stars.

Right now I will give this GE Profile HE Smart Top Load washer a 5 star review. Everything in the description is true to form. It does a great job on cleaning our clothes, the spin action is perfect, and having the low profile agitator prevents piling on the microfiber and fleece blankets I use for foster kitten bedding. It also does a great job on unbalanced loads. The sensor correction is perfect. I'm giving it a 5 star rating on price because I got it on sale.
