Has preprogramed cycles , but they can be customized. The deep fill feature is a big plus with the option to add even more water with the extra deep fill. It also has a countdown display, which is a nice feature not found on many of the new washers. Our first purchase was the Maytag Pet Smart washer. That was a big mistake. This thing beats it hands down , just like our previous GE Profile that gave out after everyday use for over 10 yrs. If this is in your budget , don't hesitate, especially with Best Buy's return policy if your not satisfied. Oh did I mention that it does an excellent job of getting out tough stains that seam to be attracted to my clothes.

I swear it sounds like a helicopter is getting ready to take off. Also, I ordered it online and didn’t know I needed to buy the install kit because the dryer didn’t have a plug included.

(We own a king size comforter) We also love the fact that I can run this washer from my phone if I forget a load in the washer, so when I get home I can just switch it to the dryer! Perfect!

Love the 5.0 space, also the 10-year limited warranty. I just tried it for the first time, and it cut my washing time in half.

It is a little loud but thats about it. I bought it ti replace a 3 year old maytag that brike for the third time. FYI never buy a Maytag they're horrible.

Our last machine was a Samsung and everyone says how bad those are but, like, this is terrible. It is so loud when it's on! The spin is awful. Clothes came out of our Samsung nearly dry, while these are sopping. I hate that it turns on every time I lift the lid. I hate that the lid can be lifted and it puts itself on pause after it starts - not great with my "helpful" toddler. I just cannot stand this thing.

It tries to correct itself but usually ends early and wet. It also does not like being interupted with adding an item or trying to balance the unbalanced,Both leave a soaked load that needs a second run through the drain and spin cycle.
