Would give it 5 stars for the job it does cleaning clothing but took a star off because it is a little louder(not horrible at all) then we expected

It works well and the spin cycle is really good helping in shortening dryer time Ut us a noise machine thou than previous machine.

Cons: drain hose is far too short, had to buy a hose extension - GE needs to provide standard adequate drain hoses.

It would be nice to have a delicate and a small load available on the face of the washer instead of just in download mode. Overall, it’s a good washing machine. It just depends on what you’re looking for and I do like that it notifies me on my LG app when the load is finished.

Posted .Your new washer may sound different from your prior unit because of the newer technology. Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. We recommend you review the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "Top Load Washer - Normal Sounds".
For help with the balancing concern, please make sure washer is properly leveled with all four legs firmly on the floor. Also, try not to overload the washer with your loads.

My husband we very pleased with the install and delivery. Washes well with less water. Hoping it makes a difference on my bill. Quiet machine that can wash a lot of launfery at once. We use it daily and have teenagers that constantly change their clothes.

I also LOVE where the dispener is for the detergent is because the water goes through it and cleans it out without leaving any residue anywhere.

Controls take a little bit of testing to get what you want. But after a few starts and stops we got it working perfectly. It runs really quiet and seems to wash extremely well.
