I noticed that when I fill the reservoir with softener, it empties directly into the clothes as I fill it. It did not do this at the beginning when I first bought it.

Posted .Thank you for reaching out. Your liquid fabric softener should be added to the far left washer drawer compartment. Follow the liquid fabric softener manufacturer’s recommendations for the correct amount of softener to use based on the load size. Do not overfill or dilute softener as this can result in additive being dispensed prematurely in the wash cycle. If you are following these steps when using fabric softener and the softener dispenses right away, we encourage you to call Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have your washer evaluated and repaired as needed.

Damaged washer was super noisy, I thought it was from the dent. Replacement washer is also VERY loud and physically moves when it is spinning. Also doesn’t drain all of the water out and I have to run it through multiple spin cycles to get sheets dry.

I am not sure if this is normal for this appliance or if I was delivered a bad unit, but it is much much louder than the 11 year old appliance it replaced. I would not buy again.

Regarding the noise, you may want to make sure the load size is appropriate for the cycle you’ve chosen, the basket is loaded evenly and the washer itself is level; an uneven load or the washer itself being uneven may cause additional vibration and add to the noise level.
