We're glad to hear that you're liking the look of your washer and aren't glad that your washer is loud, Please check out page 24 in your use and care manual, as it describes different common sounds. Also, view the article on our website called "Top load washer - normal sounds". If you don't think that the sound you're hearing is being referenced, please have one of our certified GEA technicians come out to take a look. We recommend checking to ensure your washer is levelled properly as shown on page 21 of the Owner's Manual which is available online. Click on the Features tab and scroll to the bottom of the Features list where you'll find a link to the manual. When loading your washer, take care not to wrap any items around the agitator or impeller. When washing large items like blankets, even out the load by adding additional items that need to be washed. Please review page 13 of the Owner's Manual for additional loading information.

We are sorry to hear your washer is louder than you expected. It is true that your new washer will sound different from your previous model. You'll hear clicking, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. If you view page 28 in your manual, you'll see a QR code that you can scan with your phone. The manual can be found on our GE Appliances site and Best Buys site. Joyce@GEAppliances
