You may want to make sure the machine is leveled, to ensure extra vibration isn’t adding to the noise level. If it may be helpful for you, we have more information about sounds the washer may make on page 24 of the manual. It was hard to see the body of the machine because it was all wrapped up in plastic wrap. I could lift the lid and look inside and I could see the control panel. All looked normal. The machine was delivered fully wrapped in bubble wrap. The delivery drivers left. I was not planning on installing the machine until the next day. Once all the plastic wrap and bubble wrap was removed I observed a large round dent in the front of the machine about the size of a volleyball. A 6" horizontal dent was on the lower right side of the machine and another horizontal dent on the lower left side of the machine. I was not happy with this but decided that I would install the machine and run a test load and possible live with the dents since it was an open box purchase. As the machine was washing water was running out from the bottom of the machine and all over my laundry room floor. It was a mess. Obviously whenever the dents were made in the machine something must have loosen inside the machine causing a leaking situation. At this point I decided to return the machine for a refund. The machine was unusable. I have no complaints about the machine itself if it had been in perfect condition and running order but it was not. Buyer beware on purchasing open box items. lesson learned for me. Item was returned a couple days later and was never used again by me. Again, my complaint is not about the machine but the damage that was done and the fact that none of this was disclosed at my time of purchase. I did not have a chance to properly evaluate the machine due to the damage and the leaking.
