These units are extremely loud and they don't have the built-in detergent reservoir as stated in the specs. Overall quality with regards to the exterior metal, lid, and detergent dispenser is very poor. I don't expect these lasting until just past manufacturer's warranty without repair calls.

Posted .Hi there - This unit has the Flex Dispense Drawer. This drawer holds liquid fabric softener/conditioner, pre-wash detergent, and detergent packets. There is also a bleach dispenser in the front left corner of the unit. If you are experiencing a loud noise, such as the unit shaking or moving, please ensure your unit is leveled properly. Posted .It is important to level your washer as it prevents the washer from excessive vibration when in use. When leveling a washer, make sure to level both front to back and side to side by adjusting the four leveling legs. Also note that the more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. -- Unbalanced loads can cause the washer to vibrate more. Pause the unit, open the door, and manually redistribute the load. To check the machine, run a rinse and spin cycle with no load. If the washer's level of vibration is normal, the unbalance was caused by the wash load. -- For ways to resolve the wet clothes concern, see the “Clothes too wet” troubleshooting section on page 28 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. It’s not worthy of installing in a rental property. Not sure how GE made such a piece of junk. Very disappointed.

Clicks, flowing water, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. Flawed Design

It’s so bad, it flys across the room 2 feet or more. It’s perfectly level, it’s just that GE clearly has a design flaw in these units. This is the last GE product I will own.
