We encourage you to review the Owner's Manual for directions on how to double check to be sure your washer is level and if not how to remedy that. You will also find descriptions of the normal sounds you can expect to hear. We certainly want to assist with any issue you're having with your washer. Troubleshooting tips are available starting on page 22 of your manual, which is available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page. Sounds are specifically discussed on page 24. Among other tips, we recommend ensuring the washer is leveled (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed); if it's not level, that may lead to extra vibration and noise. We also have an article about noises on our GE Appliances website, titled "Top Load Washer - Noises Heard During Agitation"; you can view that when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab.
